What an eclectic array of vintage furnishings, along with a delicious display of pastries, and other delectable treats. I shared a monkey bread muffin which was fragrant with cinnamon,and cloves while being saturated with a wonderful icing. Next we shared a ginger and turmeric muffin, wowzers was this delight full of surprises.. soft doughy pastry and when torn in half, a turmeric icing river cascaded down the center it was magical, magnificent, and super delicious! A great place to browse the web, meet friends or just soak up some edible joy!! Can't wait to go back n bring friends the menus offered so much more, sandwiches, eggs, you can't go wrong with the prices either fresh, hand made noncommercially prepped food....Enjoy !

This place is great for breakfast and coffee lovers. Not an upscale place but the food was definitely fresh, everything straight out of a farm or oven. The dining area is really spacious and has a lot of fun stuffs for the kids to play with and keep them occupied while you relish your food.
Just a little downside - The potions were small so not always value for money..

Food is so good, service is generally understaffed for the dining area which is no reflection of those working but just the reality so attentiveness can be lacking to no fault of their own. All the foods are great that I've had, and we will keep going back for breakfast.

Oh lord what a mess. Unsure how these reviews could be so exceptional.
An omelette for $14 that doesn’t even come with toast or potatoes? Table was dirty, service was poor, food was bland.
Go to a good traditional diner.

Great scratch made food. Stop for breakfast had a great BEC sandwich. The decor is unique, reminds me of when I visited my grandmother's house.

My over easy eggs were burnt on bottom and the potatoes had a fishy taste to them. No body checked on our table at all. The decor was a bit weird.

My new favorite breakfast spot! Got the avocado toast and a vanilla cake with icing and whipped meringue. I combined it on the same place for the picture lol. It was awesome!!! I will be a lifetime customer. Thank you guys!!!

Mothership in main is a hidden jewel in Danbury.

The food is excellent (I recommend the avocado toast) and the hot chocolate (photo attached) never disappoints!
Furthermore the staff are friendly, and the flow of the restaurant works well.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and the owner clearly takes very good care of the space.

This is one of my go-to places when I find myself in Danbury during breakfast or lunch hours.

Was really looking forward to this place based on the reviews. The place is very cute and well designed. Staff was pretty friendly. Servers seemed a little shy. No problem. I was excited for the food after having read the reviews and seen the pictures.

I ordered French toast, and my partner ordered the avocado toast. The French toast was very thick (no prob), but it wasn’t at all cooked through. The middle was wet with raw egg texture. It also tasted just a little odd. I enjoyed some of the bites closer to the edge. My partner’s avocado toast, in contrast to my dish, was very small. The multigrain or rye bread that it was on was quite thin. Underneath the egg on top was a very, very old avocado. There was no part it that wasn’t tainted grey/black. I was surprised, as I’ve never seen a restaurant be so bold as to serve avocado in this state. I guess they thought they could hide it under the egg? I would have sent it back, but my partner suffered through it, as he prefers not to point out issues to servers in restaurants.

I’m not sure what happened that day. I’d like to assume it was a one-off, but the fact that both our meals weren’t great leave me unsure. Hopefully this feedback helps the place improve.
