Cramped and awkward set-up. Does not live up to expectations. Coffee is pretty similar to any other coffee you could get anywhere else. Employees friendly enough, just vacant appearance in their eyes, though. Very earth-crunchy place, so not really the vibes.
I love coming here for a cappuccino and a scone. I have to say in all honesty it was the best scone I've ever had. And I am a huge fan of scones so for me to say it's the best one it really has to be an amazing texture, freshness, and taste and it fit all three! I also got a chocolate chip cookie that was gluten free and made with almond flour and it was delectable! I always really appreciate their coffees and their expressos because they're fresh grounds they're made to order it's so much better than going into one of those chain coffee shops where they push a button on a machine to get you your cappuccino. One day I will finally stay and experience the ambiance of the area they have a great little patio now and inside is so cozy that I really want to stay I just never have the time to do it but it's a really great place to sit and have a conversation with a friend or get some work done.
The Matcha tea, Dirty Chai and scones are all my favorites from Giv😉 I love that it feels so cozy and they have great outdoor seating too which is great when I bring my pup! Dora loves watching the staff through the window!!😊
Coffee that gives back! Very nice people work here and it's a nice spot to relax, work and/or catch up with friends. Side and back parking. Gift cards also available. They have tea selections and delicious treats! Check it out!
When the winds blew East and the leaves turned a rustic brown that fateful autumn I knew something magical had happened in Canton... Giv Coffee opened for business. I've been so many times I've lost count but sit down by the fire with me and let me tell you a tale of the day magic returned to Canton.
My Sunday was like any other, after an uneventful weekend of chores and getting laid off from my job as a ghost to human translator. I was driving home dejected, forlorn and with no future prospects as ghost to human translators aren't particularly in demand come November. That's when it happened, I could smell the change in the air, the faint smell of fresh roasted beans.
I stopped and walked up the door, mesmerized by this new business, the location seemingly having been an empty plot of land just hours prior. I opened the door and the decor was bright and inviting, and neatly decorated, the white walls felt like a blank canvas inviting me to the possibilities of coffee. I scanned over the menu and was greeted with a myriad of coffee creations. I decided to keep it simple and in short time the friendly staff had my Americano ready for me.
I sat down, staring nervously at the wall as I always do for at least thirty minutes when I go to Starbucks. Surely this espresso based delight would scorch my tongue the way the sun at the Kalahari desert had scorched many a weary traveler, I could not drink this beverage now. Then I heard a calm voice from behind the counter "you are safe" the voice assured me "you are safe to drink". It was the barista, looking down at me with a reassuring smile.
Without hesitation I put the cup to my lips and took in the aroma, the flavors, the complexity, then tears streamed from my eyes. The Americano was already at the perfect temperature for me to drink.
Small and cozy cafe, somewhat hidden along Albany Road in Canton, CT. My first visit today, but it will certainly not my last! The coffee is savory and the several “notes” of flavors are easily tasted. My latte is like smooth and warm velvet — it tastes like a Robert Frost poem in mid-winter.
The instrumental jazz music and calm setting are perfect for reading a book, chatting with a friend, or quietly sipping on a beverage. GIV Coffee offers a momentary sanctuary in the daily grind of work.
Giv Coffee’s mission of charitable giving is noble. The staff’s gracious service is an extension of the cafe’s commitment to care for others.
The best coffee shop around - lots of variety, complex flavors, perfectly roasted. I buy bags to make at home or by the cup when I am fortunate enough to be in the area, and both are the best around. Truly one of the best cups of coffee in the country, hidden here in Canton - not to mention a charitable spirit which shows through their brand and service.
My favorite local coffee shop. The bar and dining area are very clean and organized. They also offer a decent variety of baked goods and pastries. Giv also offers bagged coffee and espresso so you can enjoy it at home.
Always excellent coffee, specialty drinks amd pastries. Staff are super friendly and its a cozy and bright atmosphere, my favorite coffee shop in the area.
I killed time here while my car was in the shop up the road. Best coffee I've had since moving to Avon a few months ago (best of 5 places I've been to in the area). The space is bright and with a nice seating area outside. You'll pay nearly 50 cents more for a small coffee than at Beanz...hence the 4 out of 5 stars. Not sure the coffee is THAT much better.

Anyway 5/5 would recommend.
