Have been going to Molten Java for what seems like 15+ years. I moved to Bethel in 1999 and it's been great for as long as I can remember remember. Always great coffee, snacks, entertainment, board games, unique handmade gifts, and accepting of ALL in the community. The employees are efficient, a pleasure to talk to, and knowledgeable of the menu.

Great coffee, and great staff! I had the MJ Blend and I was supremely satisfied. Definitely one of the best coffee places in the area. Don't go to the franchise coffee places(DD & *Bucks), go to Molten Java and you won't be disappointed.

The java mocha frap thing I got was so delish. Perfect place for a super pick you up or just to relax. Has an old after school 60's vibe. They sell an eclectic assortment of items. Books, cards, bags, aprons, jewelry etc. Can't wait until my next visit. Loved the wall art!!

Molten Java has better than average coffee and lattes, pretty good food, quirky decor, odd curio items, and an extremely cool staff. Any one of those things on their own might make for a nice place to visit, but Molten Java is more than the sum of its parts. It's a place to meet friends. It's a place to curl up with a good book. It's a place to start up a conversation with a stranger. It's a place to be part of a community. Places like this are few and far between.

Funky vibe and good coffee with some good board games to boot. Also a nice kids activity area.

Cute, eclectic coffee bar that offers some light fare, including Taco Tuesdays. Pre-pandemic also featured live music regularly and other entertainment. In addition to hot and cold drinks a variety of kitchy/ornamental baubles for sale. One of a kind!

Their coffee is the best around. Being local and having a funky atmosphere and friendly staff make this a great place to meet up with friends, settle in to get some work done, or just grab a quick coffee and bite to eat.

The update looks amazing... More seating, amazing atmosphere and same great food. THE CHILLI is a must.... and checkout the Nightmare Before Christmas Cuckoo Clock in the entrance.

Great coffee drinks, friendly staff, nice atmosphere! Can't wait to go back and try something new.

When the power went out in Bethel, I needed a coffee shop - fast. Molten Java was a nostalgic return to coffee houses I frequented in college. I'm a plain old drip when it comes to java, but my basic large black was flavorful and hot. The pistachio muffin was enjoyable. Seating is cramped, but nobody seemed to mind. I'm happy that our little downtown area has a quality down-to-earth coffee shop.
