Finally got a chance to stop by in here and try out the food and walk around. Be sure to stop by and check it out. Have a coffee and relax or grab a bite to eat.
If you're passing through town, they have some of the best local handmade items you can buy as gifts plus they got souvenir shirts and hoodies. There's something for everyone.
The deli has a great assortment of meats and cheeses, they deserve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The pizzeria has by the slice and whole pies. They also have ice cream, shakes, malts, and floats.
There are lofts which will be one of the nicer places to stay in town as well.

The lavender lemon and the lavender blueberry cupcakes are/were phenomenal! Totally worth the wait. The icing on both were spot on with the flavor profiles and perfectly paired with the cake flavors. The cake part was moist and could stand alone as a tasty muffin. But the icing and cake married into a beautiful and tasty cupcake. Keep up the great work!

This is an awesome old building that has some food options (pizza, icecream, and award winning deli/bakery). There are spaces with lots of local artwork and crafts. And there is cool accommodation too (called the Lofts) which we will go back and stay one day. The entrance to the building looks locked but go ahead on in. The pizza placed is closed early in the week when we went but the deli was open. Great seating, couches, etc. its a place you can hang out in for hours. Definitely be back!

Lots and lots of things to look at. Mostly home made items. Jewelry, nick knacks, and quite an assortment of home made cookies ( the size of small cakes), breads, jellies and fresh brewed coffee. Lots of history preserved in the old floors with just the right amount of updates that make it comfortable. Cute, quaint little shop.

Such an awesome place! I was passing through driving from Colorado to Texas and we chose this for our lunch stop. We had delicious sandwiches and handpies from the deli. And I even found a few gifts for my family. This is a must visit if you are in the area!

This place is a must see if you are traveling thru Walsenburg. Located 1 block east of Main street right on the railroad tracks. Lots of local vendors with some great items for sale. A deli AND a pizza shop plus Ice Cream can be had inside. Staff is friendly, prices reasonable. Stop and take a look.

From the food to the locally produced goods, the Mercantile is a wonderful stop for visitors and a must go to hang out for the locals.

Food was good, although a little skimpy on the cheese. Just a suggestion to the staff.....dont serve ice cold marinara sauce with the garlic knots. Warmed is much more appetizing.

Eclectic shopping experience, set up like an artist's co-op. So much to discover and see. One of a kind find for gifting mecca.
