Tina's Family Cafe

There is only one reason I need to go back to Walsenberg and that is Tina’s. My college roommate and I took a long trip in Colorado this summer. We have been friends since we were 19 and we are 71. Let’s just say we have eaten at many places. We each ordered a taco salad and it was the best we have eaten, ever. Not only was the food wonderful, everyone was kind. They treated us as if we were family.

I wish they delivered to Colorado Springs!

Cute diner with great food and great service. We stopped for breakfast on our way to the Great Sand Dunes NP. We enjoyed our experience so much that we went back the next day on our way home.

Great food! I had the ham hamburger - it was very good and I’ll now be putting a slice of ham on my burgers I cook at home. Also had the Denver omelette which was also really good.

We were traveling and feel gratefully to find this place especially when you don't know the town.

This place rocks!! My wife and I came in for breakfast at about 10am on a Monday. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my wife had a french toast plate with eggs, hashbrowns etc. Food quality and quantity was awesome, impeccable and delicious! This place has a welcoming feel and all those that I interacted with were so polite and just plain nice! We have been in Walsenburg for about 2 years now and this was our first visit. Tina's Family Cafe made an outstanding first impression and will be our local go-to place for great food! Thanks!!

What a great lunch!

We found this little gem by luck as we were passing through town on the way to Durango in mid-July.

We hit them right around lunchtime (12:30 - ish), but they had an indoor table available right away for our group of 6.

This is a true family affair - mom and dad are running the kitchen with some help, and the kids and their friends are manning the tables.

We ordered a variety of things....2 kids' meals, reuben, patty melt, salads, and a roast beef sandwich. Good food, fresh and pretty quick. Think diner-style atmosphere and style.

Realistically, it'll probably be a long time if we're ever back in the area to go again, but we would. If you're like us, and want a place to eat while driving through, you should definitely stop here and enjoy a meal! Thanks, y'all!

First time eating here. We were on our way through the town headed home. Small eating area, good variety menu with additional specials listed on a wall. Food was good and service was good.

Great breakfast spot! Food was delicious!

Driving back from the sand dunes and found this little gem! The huevos rancheros was super. The staff was very kind and service was quick. Thanks for a much needed refuel after a day of adventure.
