Stopped by quickly on our way out of town and wish we would’ve had more time to visit. Really cute little bookstore with a great variety as well as some good souvenirs (postcards, magnets, etc)

Buyer beware. Website inventory is effectively a dropshipper, inventory lists books for sale they don't have in stock to sell to you. Why a brick and mortar store would do this is odd at best, incredibly frustrating at worst.

For a town the size of Telluride this is just an amazing bookstore. We stopped in this morning for a visit and I was impressed with the selection of books they have. Whether you are looking for fiction, hiking guides, history or cookbooks you will definitely find some real gems here.
I looked extensively at the local book selection and found some great books about the history or Telluride. The hiking and outdoor section was right next to the local section and I had a great time looking at all the options and dreaming about my next trip and some possible hiking in the area.
The cookbook section was great. They had multiple copies of all the most popular cookbooks on the market and then some clever unique choices that I had not see before.
If I had a local store like this, I would be blessed as I honestly think that this local bookstore would give the large box booksellers a run for their money if they were located in the same area.

I hate to be this guy...but I'm going to be this guy. We were just in Telluride, and stopped in to browse. Pretty good selection, nice little store, so no gripes there; our kids all found books they were excited about reading. But my wife was waiting -- she's the patient one, not me -- for a good 10 minutes at the register, with no one in sight to check her out. During that time, two other customers (I watched all of this with bemusement) waited with her, then gave up, putting their books back and leaving. My wife finally went to the coffee shop in back, to see if she could check out there, and was scolded by a very self-important woman that they were two separate businesses and she needed to check out WHERE SHE HAD ALREADY BEEN WAITING FOR 10 MINUTES WITHOUT ANY SIGN OF LIFE. Because she's nicer than me, my wife kept her cool. She simply smiled and followed the woman back to the front register. This glorious example of customer service then proceeded to bag shame my wife because, God forbid, we hadn't prepared ourselves by coming equipped with bags in case we had an unexpected stop at a bookstore. Ultimately: If you like to wait, be treated rudely, and then ridiculed because of your obvious hate for the planet, this is the place for you. Otherwise, maybe, you know, skip it.

I love this cozy bookstore. One of my favs. I just visited during COVID and felt very safe with their rules and capacity limitations. The clerk named Megan was able to help me find the perfect books for two nieces ...ages 5 and 20!

Such a charming shop. The owners are so so kind and love the coffee shop in the back.

I love the Bookstore! Every one should check it out, the selection of books is amazing and they can get you any book you want!
Please wear your mask because one of their priorities is community safety.

Cute little book store. Love how home-y and cozy it is. Larger book selection then I would have thought. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Always a must stop while in town. The staff suggestions hit the spot every time

I PREVIOUSLY loved this book store however Hilary, their resident barista, is probably one of the rudest representations of customer service I have encountered in a while. She scoffed at me when I said hello her at her counter only to roll her eyes at me, after I ordered a four dollar latte. She then sat my cup down for the other barista to make since my latte wasn't good enough for her to make and proceeded to shove my change into my hand at me; missed completely just for it to spray all over the counter! After making an absolutely pitiful attempt to gather herself I was shouted at from across the room to let me know that there was a laughable 6 oz latte that was absolutely more disgusting than the lattes from the coin operated hospital latte machines... Thanks Hilary, I buy four dollars lattes weekly so that's def not our issue here, just your manners and also half of your gross latte your cohort attempted to make is in the trash. I will look for an alternative coffee shop when I'm in town next, where people are nice to each other and have manners when i come in and want to spend some money! Thanks for ruining me buying books there as well...
