Dusky Grouse Coffee

My pain latte was fantastic. Good espresso flavor. The store is pretty close to the resort but a little out of sight.

Delicious spicy chai latte. Highly recommend. Great ambience though the speaker system could be a tad more dispersed. Love the local art and items to purchase.

My first couple experiences of going here was good, coffee was delicious, good service, etc. However the last 4 times I’ve come in to the shop something of mine has been forgotten. The other week they started getting busy, my friend and I had already gotten our coffee but it took 20min to get our food, and that’s after me reminding them that we had placed a food order. Yesterday my drip coffee was forgotten and I had to remind the barista. It happened once again a few weeks back when I came in with my boyfriend and they forgot his bagel until I reminded them. Service is decent, and coffee is good, but after having something in my order being forgotten for a 4th time turns me off of returning.

It was simply OK. The Mud Wtr I ordered wasn't fully mixed, it was pricey (my drink and in general), and they were out of most of the pastries. The vibes were chill and I like that they sell vinyl, but Id try one of the other coffee shops in town before I came back here.

Ambiance 10/10 , coffee/tea quality 10/10, (today I tried the warm hug with Chai Tea….. yum!), croissant 10/10, hours 10/10, (coming back later today for a meeting), service/friendliness 10/10. Best coffee shop in the boat! Croissant not seen because I ate it up so fast - best right out of the oven in the morning

Really nice, welcoming shop with great coffee, juice, breakfast food, and an energetic owner. Will definitely be back!

Coffee was good but they need to have more vegan snacks, the have a vegetarian burrito but can’t modify it or remove the cheese because it’s pre made :( it’s 2022 - you gotta have at least something for us.

Bummer- I’ve followed these guys on Instagram- looks fairly busy, heard good things-but the first time I went today and got a Mocha- it was gross- couldn’t even drink it- burnt? Old- just bad. I hope it was a fluke but not sure I am willing to try again. Too too bad. Barista made a comment about Starbucks- I felt good about supporting a local company but then when tasting the drink I wish I would have gone to Starbucks- also I did take the drink with me and did not taste it on site or I would have said something in person.

*** not looking for Starbucks:) drinkable would be good though *** will try again for sure and taste before leaving premises-

The lattes, London Fogs, and hot chocolate were all yummy. We really like the atmosphere and the care that you show to your customers and the local community. We'll be back the next time we are in Steamboat.
