Nice folks and it's not Starbucks.

20 house roasted coffees from light to dark. Cold brew, local snacks and breakfast burritos too. Clean and cozy atmosphere with couches & magazines. Self serve & pay coffee for those in a hurry. This is my favorite place to get drip coffee and espresso in Salida! Ross is a wonderful Barista and human!

A perfect way to start the day! We decided to stop here on our way through town and glad we did. I got the Aztec Mocha and it was perfectly spicy and chocolatey. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to eat and next door is coffee. Very cute people running their perfectly ran business and I can not complain. Congrats to these guys!

Great coffee! So much better than Starbucks! Friendly and quiet atmosphere, always great service. I'm a Salida native and this is my favorite place to get coffee.

I've gone here a few times over the last few years when driving through Salida and was slowly noticing a decrease in cleanliness and attitude. On visiting today (my last) it was a bit like a Saturday Night Live skit. Long pulls of espresso can be a contentious issue every now and then for barista's but her attitude today was hilarious. Sorry button pushers but unless you seek out and blend your beans and roast them yourself you push one button to grind the beans and another to start the espresso machine running. In Italy they are called Longos and are about 30 second pulls. When that snob attitude comes out I just have to laugh. My guess is the business is not doing well and the poor owner is taking her stress out on the clients. Not for my $4.00 for a cup of coffee!!!! The coffee experience is supposed to be fun and relaxing!! I hope her new occupation is more satisfying!!

We always stop here while in Salida - love their Mexican coffee and burritos. Today the barista remade my husband’s drink without me even asking when I asked for the wrong sweetener.

I love this place. I was stranded in Salida for two months and the owner of this shop (along with a few others) made me feel at home, was kind, and genuinely a good business man. the staff is hard working, the place is always clean and it's just good.

Sleeper of a great coffee shop and fresh beans.
