Howl Mercantile & Coffee

I love just hanging out in Howl, noticing items I didn't see the last time, or new items just in. Everything is so thoughtfully chosen and high quality. The staff is friendly and awesome! Gourmet ice cream flavors and gourmet merchandise!

Great mix of mercantile goods. Initially I anticipated it catering more to my wife but upon further shopping, there are a lot of great men's goods. The Redwing socks are my absolute favorite! The cappuccinos are fantastic!

Beautiful little store with great tea and coffee. Next time I'm driving through I definitely want to try their ice cream. Absolutely worth a stop if you're in Salida or just passing through.

Amazing shop with artisan goods selected with thoughtful intention by the owner/barista. A good peruse for unique gifts or just to sit and relax with one of their delicious pour over coffees.

Barista was very friendly, coffee tasted great, the atmosphere is laid back with good music. They have interesting mercantile selection. I place I see my girlfriend enjoying.

Howl has been a great addition to Salida - and honestly a shop that would be 'great' even compared with stores in major cities. Fun selection of things you never know you needed along with some good coffee and snacks. Pro tip: make sure you get the toasted marshmello fluff on your ice cream if they have it.

My family and I love this place. We stopped in for ice cream and coffee and everything was wonderful. They also carry so many neat unique items. The owners/staff were lovely and very interesting to chat with. Definately stop in here if you go through Salida.

Awesome coffee shop with unique gifts and items. Alternative drink options like non dairy, turmeric, chai, and even ice cream. Great place to hang out on a quiet day.

The pour over coffee was unbelievably delicious, couldnt believe they had such good coffee in a little mountain town. Great coffee and great people plus a cool little shop, really happy I stopped by on my trip to Salida.
