Coffee was on point and one of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name behind the coffee shop counter, but that man definitely knows how to whip up a good coffee!. Everything was homemade and could be customized. The atmosphere was inviting- the shop does share a location with a brewery so get your coffee in the am and come back for a beer in the pm. Looked like a great place to hang out with friends.
What a great shop for coffee, breakfast burritos, and pastries! Super chill vibe and very kid and dog friendly (games, dog toys, and dog water bowl). Darin, the owner and barista, is so nice and gave us lots of good recommendations. Can't wait to come back next time!
Best coffee in Colorado. The owner knows coffee! Really! Owner is really friendly and there are dogs!! The hot chocolate is amazing and the place is just awesome in general. If you’re not stopping here you’re blowing it.
Amazing coffee!! Returning home from our camping site we entered Rollinsville, CO craving good morning coffee. Seeing how small this town was, I assumed coffee was not going to be great. Yet, to my surprise Melt Coffee spot was not only cute and whimsical with its painted walls and great baked goods, it’s high quality coffee with the offer from its owner to choose honey or maple syrup as my sweetener and almond milk was beyond my expectations. This reminded me of great cafés back in NY with something to satisfy everyone, even a customer with GF needs.
Melt is my (and my dog's) fav coffee place ever. I love stopping by after hiking in James Peak wilderness area. It's so cozy, friendly folks running the place and has the best vibe!!
Stumbled across this coffee shop and super impressed! Normally when we go into mountain town coffee shops, they’re just ehhh. This one we’ll be back to!! Amazing coffee, good vibes and delish food. Go here!
Drove up with the family from Golden on Saturday the 18th. We were so excited to check out your place as we are avid specialty coffee fans. Arrived at 9:30am only to find out you were not open. You advertise that you are open at 8am on Saturdays. This was the second time I have tried to go on hours that are advertised as open operating hours, and you all were closed. We did not see anywhere on social media platforms or otherwise that you were to be closed that day or the other day. What a privilege it must be to own a small business and to just open whenever you'd like. Such a bummer. Speaking as a family who owns a small business , it is our responsibility to do better for people and to show up for everyone.
This is the place. Get a coffee on your way to wherever. Its the best. Darin roasts epic delicious beans and serves them properly and with enthusiam and a side of saxophone. Not to be missed. Yum!
Awesome coffee! I stopped by for an espresso and not only was it awesome but Darin sat there and nerded out on coffee with me for a while. I’ll be back for sure.

Really good coffee and eats. Highly recommend coming in, don’t think there’s any other cafes around.
