Mojo's Coffee Chai & Teas

What a gem of a coffee shop. Super small so not really a place to sit and enjoy but a great cup makes up for it. They had a great selection of teas as well for the non-coffee drinker (*cough* my weird husband *cough*).

Day after day after day, Ouray tourists line up & wrap around the block to wait for Mojos incredible services. Seriously, I’ve never NOT seen this place packed when it’s open. It doesn’t surprise me at all though…with the best espresso, friendliest baristas, beautiful ‘bohemian’ art, and over all great vibes, YOU WANT TO BE HERE.

It gets even better…behind the business is the most inclusive, welcoming, and loving group of people you will ever come across. The owner, Heather, puts her heart & soul into this place and it’s truly the safest space in our little town. Home to many healing souls 💕 witches especially welcome 😉

I will warn that if you have ill intentions, hate, impatience, or bad vibes, you CANNOT hide in this place. It will immediately come to light once you walk through the door. Your coffee will be cursed & (until you acknowledge your trauma/put in the work to heal) your experience in our town will be doomed. DOOMED.

Great coffee, fantastic service, and badass merch. I ordered the Twilight Mocha, it is DELICIOUS. The barista was so friendly. They have a ton of gifts to pick up - hats, stickers, cards, mugs. The pottery by ALLY is gorgeous.

Came here twice during our visit in Ouray. Witch’s Brew and Honey Badger are so yummy. The friendly puppers was a plus! If there is a line, stay and wait! There is a line because it is so good!

Great coffee and pastries, opens early which is perfect for a pre-hike beverage.

I LOVE Mojo’s so much! The service is great, the drinks are amazing, and the entire vibe there is awesome. It’s definitely a safe and accepting place where I, a queer person, feel welcome. So, if you’re in Ouray, you should definitely check it out!!

My favorite place in Ouray! Great atmosphere, fun decor, and the owner is awesome. The best dog in all of CO greets everyone there, and you may even be lucky enough to get some love nibbles/grooming from her. I’m craving the Honey Badger this morning!

1 employee (long line), no lids, no almond milk, no receipt paper, no bathroom (is that legal?).

Probably need a better manager as they don't seem to be well managed.

I gave two stars because the honey badger drink I ordered was decent and despite being out of almost everything, the employee was very nice and doing the best she could.

Took a really long time, despite there being 2 staff and mine the only order (literally 7 minutes) for coffee that was just okay. Also asked to use a bathroom and was rudely told to “try the library across the street” (it was 730 on a Sunday so doubtful they’re open). I’m sure the owner will have a snarky reply, but the fact is when you’re in the service industry people do expect some customer service (and for the record I was polite and even tipped).

The best way to find out where to go is to find the place with the line out the door. In Ouray, that would be this place. I myself am not a coffee drinker, but my friend is. I waited in line for a tea and a pastry which was delicious. I loved the unique variety on the menu.
