Awesome atmosphere! Definitely a place to stop buy and select a microbrew. Great place for a pull and and an appetizer!

Rain Brews is an exceptional coffee shop that me and all of my friends love. There is an amazing atmoshpere, amazing waitstaff, and exceptional coffee and food. recently I had a barista named Justin who made an extraordinary frap with espresso and lavender syrup (10/10 would recommend if you like floral flavor notes) that is my now favorite/go-to drink. I could not recommend rain brews more, it is truly amazing.

Was travelling through from backpacking and stopped here to get coffee. Great coffee! Would absolutely stop by here again. I also had breakfast sandwich and it was small but good.

Wait staff was very rude - I have been here once, but I am part of a group that comes here every week. My first time coming was three weeks ago. We got to the restaurant at 8:15 PM, and there was an event finishing up. They informed us that their kitchen was closing 15 minutes early and that it would be best if we placed our orders in ahead of time at 8 PM if we wanted food next time. This was a totally reasonable request. I completely understood this. So two weeks ago, my group decided then to call in our order a little before 8 PM, as was suggested by the staff and so we could make it before the kitchen closed. To which, we were told that they were slow and closing the whole restaurant down. Not wanting to miss out on food, this past week we called at 7:30 PM. I called in the order with my group present. I said, "Hi, I would like to call in my order ahead of time. My group comes every week, and we were told to call in our orders in advance." The server, who picked up the phone, curtly and rudely replied, "We are too busy to take orders." ...and then slammer the phone down and hung up. No apology. No time for me to even respond. It felt like the equivalent to having the door slammed in my face. My entire group watched this, and I just sat back amazed that someone would actually do that. It was very embarrassing! It's like this place didn't want our business, and while I was a newer customer, my group had really talked up the food here, so I was very disappointed. I was really looking forward to trying it. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here.

EDIT: They're still great people but I am not as big of a fan since they changed their menu. I dont really eat meat. Just turkey and they removed all the things I loved from their menu. I havent been back in over a year now. Id still recommend visiting!
They've got amazing sandwiches and I adore their lavender lemonade. The rose lemonade is fantastic too. It is really reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. You can pick from sitting at coffee tables, couches, or regular tables. I havent had a chance to try their coffee or any of their other food yet, but if it is as good as their sandwiches, I'll definitely give it a try!

This is a fun spot in a historic building in the middle if Monte Vista. They have a limited but eclectic food menu and a full bar. Wide selection of beers to choose from. The setting is very comfortable and can easily handle large groups. Additionally, they are dog friendly, so your pooch is always welcome. Highly recommend.

We waited 20 minutes for two coffees. Today they were under-staffed, the two girls looked stressed and upset. This place used to be great in all areas, atmosphere, coffee, food, and service. Our whole family loved hanging out there, now I can barely stand it. The owner is rude to employees and customers.

My husband and I stopped at this bar/coffee shop with some family members who are from there. It had a beautiful/home feel to it. There were couches and small areas to sit and enjoy your time without being crowded by other patrons.
My husband tried their green chili beer and loved it, I had their hibiscus cider and enjoyed it. I would love to know if they sell either of these beers in the Colorado Springs area.

We stopped here for our morning coffee and if we didn't have to get home quickly we probably could have stayed here for hours! The coffee was delcious and the staff were very kind and helpful. They had a bunch of games and books for guests to play and read. The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. We loved Rain Brews! It was a great find and great end to our trip in Southern Colorado. We will definitely be back if we are in Monte Vista again!

This place has such amazing coffee. Probably the best in the valley. I have tried all the options. Its consistent among all the baristas which is an amazingly rare feat, seriously. The biggest issue and the reason they are not my number one favorite coffee house is that they are consistently inconsistent with their hours. It's a game of roulette if they are going to be open in the am. They have let me down multiple times when I was hoping to get an amazing latte on my way to work. There is not a comparable option in monte vista, already tried. I wish in the future they can be more consistent with opening during their stated morning hours.
