Stopped in for lunch while passing through town on the suggestion of another local business.
Sat on the patio with our dog and had great service! The Shenanigans appetizer was amazing, with the Brussels sprouts and honey sriracha sauce stealing the show. The corned beef reuben was perfection and the teriyaki buffalo steak melt was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time.
Well worth the stop and the price!

We came in as a party of nearly 30 people and they were absolutely slammed with customers, on top of having trouble with their stove right before we arrived and being short staffed our server did an exceptional job handling our large party. I don't know how they did it, but our food was DELICIOUS, no one in our party had any issues and were totally thrilled with their food and service was amazing, we would have been understanding if there were problems because, how on earth they could get all those orders out seemed a miracle! Anyway the food was AMAZING! Brussel Sprouts to die for. GO CHECK THEM OUT!

The name says it all, you'll want to pass on this Cafe. This place is nasty. I found a large hair on my sandwich that I had to throw away, the soup was served cold out of the fridge, and a rude staff. The food was cold with little flavor. I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone even greeted me in a mostly empty restaurant. The staff has fowl body odor to top it off. There are help wanted signs up. They need all the help they can get.

Delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and just an overall interesting local place. Make sure you bring a large appetite, try the brussel sprouts, and you can't go wrong with a burger!
The patio area is dog friendly, as well!

I’m not one to leave a bad review for a small business in a mountain town but the service here was particularly unpleasant. Called in a to go order and the prices were 50% higher than what is posted on their website. Said my sandwich was $10.95 but ended up being $16.95!!!! Brought this up and the server rudely let me know they don’t have a manager to fix that ?? (something that takes a few minutes to update). I say okay apologies I thought there might have been a mistake and she made me feel bad for being confused on the discrepancy in prices. Food was decent but almost $17 for a veggie sandwich is absurd in Leadville of all places. Would have been more okay with paying this if the bartender wasn’t so rude.

My favorite favorite restaurant in Ladeville... the only thing not to miss in Colorado.
If you miss this, you are not doing right to your trip.

Food was excellent, only reason for more than 1 star. Started off weird, we were sat down by an older gentleman worker and there were 4 workers sitting behind the bar chatting. We were sitting for a couple of minutes without menus before the older gentleman had to say, "Would one of you mind serving this group?" Our server walked over and the rest disappeared to the back. Our server was inattentive and very unenthusiastic, not filling water/soda and disappearing into the back when we were one of two parties in the entire restaurant. It was fine, I'm not too picky and will happily overlook this given the quality of the food.
But then our server got into a wildly obnoxious and loud argument with another one of the workers there about 10 feet from us just behind the bar. I get it, disagreements with coworkers happen, but take it in the back. I do not want to hear this, it was one of the most awkward experiences in a restaurant I've ever experienced.
At this point, me and my buddy just want to get out of there because it is so weird and awkward, but server disappeared into the back so we had to just wait there, I actually went up to another worker just so we could get out of there, didn't work. Our server came back out, argued with coworker some more, then cashed us out. She comes to our table "sorry about that", yeah fursure...
Was a terrible experience lol. Will not go back simply because of the terrible service. And it is a bar setting! I'm really not expecting anything special, just bring me my drink and my food. Shame because food was very good. Would avoid if you want a halfway respectable meal.

The food was overpriced and we were over charged. We stopped by for lunch on our way back from camping. We love to support small businesses and are very understanding of restaurants when they are short staffed and/or sold out of menu items, which was the case for this one today. That part we rolled with, but other pieces aren't so easy to overlook. I ordered the "burger with dill and havarti cheese" and for my side I ordered the blackberry and apricot salad "for a small up charge." What arrived instead was the dill and havarti sandwich and the blackberry salad with chicken added to it and a few ingredients missing. I asked the waitress if she could please put in an order for a single burger patty for me, realizing I should have been more specific with my order and deciding there was no need to explain that it felt like she misunderstood or misimputed my order. She told me they were very busy, but she would try to get me a burger patty. Then a few minutes later she dropped off our bill with no mention of my burger or anything else and told us we could pay whenever we wanted. We were charged $14 for the burger patty, which we never got. My sandwich and salad combo, wasn't a small upcharge, but rather the full price for the sandwich plus the full cost for the small version of the salad. In total, my meal was $21and I didn't get the included side with my meal if the intention was to bill me separately for the salad, though my husband had fries and a salad and wasn't charged that way. The food wasn't great, but not bad. My sandwich was too salty and my husband's Caesar salad tasted like a vinegarette dressing. When we finished eating we put out our card for the waitress and she came by and asked if everything looked OK on the bill. We told her that we would like the burger taken off and she seemed hesitant. I also pointed out that I only wanted the patty so $14 didn't seem right and she assured me she rang it in correctly so I'd get a burger with no bun or toppings. She made no mention of the fact that it wasn't logical to buy a whole new meal, which includes a side, and not get any of that and just get the burger. We left shaking our heads and vowing to never return.

We will never return. Waiter was rude AND disrespectful and the management did nothing about it. I work hard for my money and going out to eat is a treat, this place is just bad vibes. I should have read the other reviews on here, seems to be a theme with this restaurant. And I used to be a server, I know how hard this job can be, so I don’t leave this review lightly.
