LA Cafe

Dining options are limited at best in Las Animas with only two choices DQ or LA Cafe. It makes LA Cafe a gem to the residents of Las Animas. LA Cafe is not a 5 star dining experience but I Grade them better than a Dennys and a welcomed relief to not have to cook.

Great small town dining experience. I love the green chili. Chicken fried steak is amazing 😋🥰

Nondescript from the outside, LA cafe features wonderful food and outstanding service. The parking lot was big enough for me to park my truck with a trailer behind it. There's a pool and a park nearby and both look very well-maintained. My meal was outstanding and the cost was low.

You look at this place and wonder, but the food is really good and it comes out hot and the servers are nice, a little shy I think but friendly.
We've had pizza, burgers and fish, and it's all been good.
The Monte Cristo is really good, especially with the raspberry sauce, 😋 😋

Seemed friendly but upon entering i felt a little like an outcast so it didn't exactly have a welcoming feeling. My server was very polite & nice but she seemed stretched all over the diner.

We like LaCafe. We try to make at least once a week.

It was pretty good the night we ate. Got there a little late but was able to get finished and not rushed out at closing. Thank goodness.
