This place is awesome my fiancé and I are passing through to get married and we stopped at this adorable coffee shop, and the girl who helped us was so sweet! We informed her we’re getting married and she congratulated us multiple times and even wrote it on our cups! And the smoothie and coffee was great!!

Great food and nice staff, but no option for ordering ahead for carry out. Placed my order at 11:40 so I could pick it up at lunch. When I arrived to pick it up, there were three people in line in front of me who placed their orders in person. All 3 of them got their food before me, even though I placed my order first. They did not even start making my sandwich until I got there, and by the time I got it my lunch hour was nearly half over…thanks I guess?

Extremely nice staff, had a shot in the dark and their biscuits with gravy dish and can honestly say it was the best BnG dish I have ever had. It is prepared with a little bit of green roasted chile. Just enough to add a touch of smokiness and spice without overwhelming the overall taste. Can honestly say I was very pleasantly surprised!

Atmosphere in the cafe was on par with your brick and mortar cafe standards, free wifi, comfortable seating, etc. Very clean surroundings tucked away in a historic brick building in downtown La Junta, I would strongly recommend this business to anyone locally or passing through. A true culinary delight!

Was driving back home to Houston and was wanting coffee. This shop had excellent reviews and I see why! The coffee was delicious and too bad I wasn't hungry at the time. The food menu looked good. Thanks for carrying oat milk! I appreciated that especially. I'll add this to my list of great places to revisit next road trip!

Great place while driving thru a small town on our way across Colorado. Loved the latte and coffee. Barista very sweet and friendly. The only reason I took off stars is because we ordered TO GO and it took over 45 mins to prepare a breakfast bagel and breakfast burrito!!!!! Only one other person was in the place drinking coffee. I know it’s not Starbucks but come on!! We could have stopped at a sit down restaurant and had breakfast in that amount of time!!!! Also the breakfast bagel was rubbery from being microwaved and not toasted.

Best coffee and cafe in town! Baristas we're great, as was the coffee and breakfast sandwich! They do get busy during the morning rush, so you may need some patience then. Definitely my new go-to in the area!

I stopped in to The Barista on a road trip. I need a spot to have breakfast and do some work. The wonderfully kind barista recommended the breakfast burrito, and I chose chorizo as the meat. The burrito was perfect. Crispy, melty, and delicious, even better than I was expecting. The chef came by and asked how my meal was as well. An excellent coffee shop experience.
