The Coffee Trader

Nice new building near City Market and the hospital. Friendly staff, nice decor with many coffee choices, a few cold beverage and sweet tooth options as well. This location needs some improvement on the hot breakfast food quality, as the breakfast burrito I tried did not seem very freshly made. This being a new restaurant and because of my support of local businesses, I will give the hot food option another try in the future in hopes that the food quality improves. Until then I'll stick to the coffee as it was delicious!

This is my third favorite coffee spot in Gunni (not sure how many there are here, Starbucks doesn’t count). The Mexican mocha is pretty good but the food is meh. I got the veggie burrito and it tasted and looked like the green chile cheese ones from Costco. The texture definitely felt like it had been frozen and thawed/reheated in the microwave. Still a good burrito, but I would expect something fresher. The drive through isn’t too fast either but that seems to be the norm in Gunnison.

From the get home coffee is great here. The food is very disappointing, fourth time getting breakfast food today and there has been no improvement. Food is never completely cooked, it’s either soggy from being frozen or uneven due to lack of cooking time, and one instance old. More specifically, a person of my party has received food poisoning from the turkey sausage sandwich TODAY 3/17/21. Service has been great, again coffee is great, but THE HOT FOOD NEEDS TO CHANGE EITHER IN PREP OR STORAGE ETC.

I am giving coffee trader 5 stars for its service! Specially, Bradley:) he is a wonderful people person and never fails to put a smile on my face. Bradley is the sole purpose I continue to go to coffee trader! He makes the lines go fast and cares about each person there that I have observed. He is a wonderful human being!!

The best Americano I have ever had! Coffee Trader is my go to place for working, meeting friends, or just swinging by to grab a drink! Everyone who works here is incredibly customer-oriented and extremely friendly! They know my order by heart, so I am officially hooked. I recommend this coffee shop full of friendly faces one million times over!

Fast service, in and out in less than 5 minutes in the drive through. BUT.... they make my coffee wrong every other time. I just ask for cream and sugar but it's always black or with just sugar. I'd rather wait in line 20 minutes at the coffee company.

Bradley and Teddy are wonderful baristas! They are welcoming and know how to treat customers well. They know the product they sell and all drinks are made consistently and well! Will define be coming back for their wonderful service!

Coffee and service is awesome. I was wondering if I transported to a bigger town when I walked into the shop. I will definitely be heading there for gifts! Can’t wait to be able to sit at a table and have a cup of Joe this summer. FYI.... the breakfast burrito is premade, frozen and nuked. Tortilla was tough and insides pasty. Salsa was akin to Alsups burrito sauce packages. Not a fan, but will try a sandwich at some point. Still gets 5 stars because everything else is awesome.

Very great experience! Taylor took the care and really personalized my experience! I used to be a regular at Mochas Cafe until I had a bad experience. Though I was treated better just in my second time going here then I ever was at Mochas. Definitely my new spot! Thank you Taylor!
