Best coffee we tried in Frisco!
Edit: I hate to say it, but we didn’t have a great experience here in 2022 so I’m updating my review. Something changed since our visit in 2021. The woman helping us had an attitude, the coffee quality declined and even the baked goods were overpriced for the quality. We hope we came on an off weekend! We’ll try again the next time we visit Frisco because we love the vibe of this place

Just got coffee. Horrible service. Took 20 minutes. Many employees standing around. Sink at the bar was dirty. Also 2 girls came in without masks and no one working there said anything. I've owned a business super close by for 20 years, I won't be going back here. $12 for 2 coffee and 20 mins to make them, gonna go to Wholefoods, I'm bummed.

The breakfast burrito was good but the coffee was much weaker than expected.

Asked for drip coffee, they said they will brew a fresh batch. I double checked to ensure they were ok with brewing a fresh pot since it was 1.5 hr to close, but instead what they gave me tasted like a cup of the old batch. Coffee was luke warm and did not taste fresh. Freshly brewed drip is piping hot and super fresh tasting. Your job should not end with roasting ... the most important step is to exhibit the taste and flavor of your bean via what you brew - especially if you’re charging 3$ for a small cup of coffee.

Loved this place! A little difficult to identify as it is located within a bar and grill and chicken spot. Loved the flavor options and the barista was awesome!! Will definitely visit again. Pricing is a bit high for coffee, but love the organic options.

OBSESSED WITH THIS COFFEE SHOP! The staff was friendly and the coffee was dank. I'll be thinking about the burrito I got for the next few days. Super COVID safe environment- I saw a review previously posted about their COVID practices, and I couldn't help but laugh because it was obvious to me that the staff are hella conscious about the pandemic. The lavender latte was sensational. I added an extra shot of espresso to mine and I didn't get any weird looks for it, in fact, the girl who rang me up was excited to try it later. I'll be back for the remaining two days that I am here on business, and can't wait to try more items on the menu. And also make friends with the people who work there. Thanks for the hospitality Mountain Dweller staff! See you tomorrow :)

While the staff was nice, the pour over was terrible. I got the Nicaragua and it tasted burnt and for $6 I was expecting all of the flavors that were advertised on their bag. Maybe it’s their roasting process, or the grinding size or the paper they use but it was a waste of money.

I've been here twice while on break at work, the first time in dire need of caffeine and the second in search of tasty sustenance. Was not disappointed either time. The vanilla latte blows Starbucks out of the water (just need a bigger size for hardcore coffee drinkers like me). Today I got the Backcountry Bacon breakfast burrito and at the barista's recommendation, I tried the siracha maple syrup... The burrito was delicious without it, but it topped it off to sweet and spicy perfection - I'd love to get my hands on that recipe (or a bottle to have at home). And the service has never been short of amazing. I'll definitely swing by again.

Cool little shop in a tiny food/beer hall situation. Great coffee/drinks/pastries

Very friendly staff. Coffee is really good! Sometimes inconsistent but always better than Starbucks 🙃 home made syrups and really easy place to hangout for a while
