New favorite place to grab coffee and lunch! Prices are extremely fair - especially for old town. The Big White Whale latte was incredible and amazingly sweet. Food menu had a great variety. Baristas and staff were wonderful!

Stopped in for breakfast and lunch Togo. Little wait, but worth it. Sandwiches were great, breakfast burritos pre-made and coffee was nice.

During the school year, this place is always hoppin’! Luckily tables turn quickly and there is outside seating, too. There is a delicious vegan burrito on the menu and avocado toast, too. Servers are friendly and food is made fast.

I love their sweet & spicy chai as well as their ham and cheese croissant. Good vibes. Decently fast service. Can be loud on the weekends so if you’re looking to focus on some work best to come here during the week for that!

Best coffeeshop in Fort Collins. They pay attention to detail - all the way down to the metal stirrers. Love, love this place.

We stayed at the neighboring hotel and really enjoyed everything we tried there! The coffee and sandwiches were amazing. Great spot for breakfast.

We love this place, somehow our review was deleted by GL. Its a nice place to get away when working remotely. The sándwich are incredible good.
Wifi didnt work first time, but it was a custom DNS issue in my laptop :)

Food was great and the people were lovely. I had the chicken salad, my husband had the BLT with avocado, and my kids had the classic Mac and cheese. All were very tasty, but OMG the Mac and cheese was incredible.
Also a great vibe on a neat street.

While I absolutely love mugs, I wanted to write this review to commend on how lovely Nate is. He came to my work to purchase some items for the store & he was extremely kind amoung an absolutely chaotic nursery. Props to him!

I think there are good things about Mugs, and then a few less-than-great things.
First, I'm a bit confused about their "Daily Happy Hour from 3-6." I came at 4:30 and asked for a grilled cheese sandwich (listed on the Happy Hour menu) and I was told that the kitchen is never open past 3. I pointed out the "Happy Hour" bit of the menu and the poor, apologetic cashier seemed just as confused as I was. This isn't the first, or even the second, time that I've been told that the food I wanted to order was unavailable for one reason or another :-(
I've been looking at some of the other more recent reviews, and I agree with what some people have been saying about the sub-par customer service. I'm not saying that absolutely everyone here is a bad worker, but I'm sure there are plenty of friendly and hard-working college students who would love to work at Mugs. How do they end up with all of these workers who have trouble even cracking a smile?
Otherwise, Mugs is one of the more comfortable coffee lounges to spend time in. They have plenty of outlets spread around and their drinks are always good. The art from local artists hanging on the walls is very pretty and it's awesome that they're supporting local artists. There are several nice pieces that are available to buy.
There are also some pretty tasty looking things to eat in their front cooler area, but it never seems like they have the same food day after day, so you can't really count on being able to order something one day that you just ordered a week ago. That said, there seems to be a pretty good selection on the weekends.
I'd say give Mugs a shot and judge it for yourself! The owners have created a very comfortable and aesthetically appealing coffee shop and they clearly know what they're doing when it comes to coffee. I consider Mugs to definitely be one of the better places in FoCo to go to study, hang out with friends, or just grab a drink. Might want to grab lunch beforehand, though :-)
