Alleycat Coffee House

Normally I really enjoy alley cat, but the past few times I’ve had a couple problems. I had gotten avocado toast and when it arrived the toast was very burnt (I’ve gotten it before and normally it is very good). The next visit I came and ordered it again but there was barely any avocado on it, the seasoning was only on half of each piece, and the bread was soggy. I enjoy the atmosphere here but it’s been the past two times that this has happened

Italo disco was playing for most of the time I was there. It was a wonderful experience.

Super sad the maverick is off the menu but the staff is always friendly, even when busy food and drink is out pretty quickly. I love settling down at any time since it’s 24/7 and having a grilled cheese and a lavender chai. Definitely my favorite coffee shop in foco.

Tbh, I didn’t go inside. It was hard for me to find. When I did find it I ended up leaving because parking was inconvenient. Everything is the alley was permit only and parking on the street was very limited. I would go back to try and update this rating.

Prices are insane: the same drink that cost me $6 everywhere else was going to cost me $8 there now. 33% more is inane.

Coffee is pretty good, the baked items are decent. The staff is always friendly and it's a good spot to get some work or studying done. Can get a bit loud, but only if it's busy

Love the charm and character of the very unique building and a prime location! Breakfast burrito was delicious and the house coffee was good. There was only one staff working who was doing their best but it meant waiting nearly 15 minutes for food.

I was generally disappointed by my experience at Alley Cat. It generally felt dirty and unkempt. House flies kept landing on me, my table, and my drink. All of the tables when I came in around 9:30 were dirty, with crumbs, food bits, and coffee stains on them. I had to wipe down my table with a wet napkin before sitting down. The music was a few notches too loud, and the staff was even louder chatting about their personal lives.

Plenty of inside and some outside seating.

Really busy place most days, full of college kids. Nice atmosphere.
