Excellent coffee and smoothies. Wanted to love this place but the staff was so unfriendly and unwelcoming it was hard to move past. A simple “hello, good morning!” Would have made the interaction so much better.

The lattes and breakfast food are great. Service was awesome. Nice place to get a coffee, relax, read a book or socialize with friends. It's my understanding the owner makes the breakfast goodies at her bakery, so yummy. The coffeecake and lava cake were both great. They have highchairs for the kiddos too!

The staff did not speak English very well and messed up our order several times. The toasted marshmallow was more like burnt marshmallow. The snickerdoodle was probably 2 weeks old and hard as a rock. Would not recommend.

Mile High Coffee House in Estes Park has been long anticipated. Friendly and very comfortable café. Very popular location.
Recommendations are to ask for less pumps of syrups and less foam on lattés. Very clean bathrooms and entrances at front near road and in back by river walk. Sandwiches and pastries available. This is the old Starbucks location but a decent addition to coffee culture in Estes Park. We are imaging that they will get better throughout this year and will be one of the more popular coffee shops in town.
The coffee is rather decent. Locally roasted in small batches in Colorado by Whiskey Barrel Coffee. Drip coffee is fine, just like most other drip coffees. Refills are 79 cents plus tax, which is steep. Starbucks is 50 cents and free for Gold Card Members.
They serve high priced Sandwiches, wraps, salads, and paninis. But, I have seen many people purchase and enjoy them. They sell whole bean coffee by the half pound and some are in a decorative 'whiskey' bottle.
The bathrooms are clean and well lit. There are 2 highchairs for little ones available. The chairs are easily movable to allow for handicap access to seating. There are plenty of non-coffee beverages available in the open air refrigerator next to the registers for those that don't like coffee.
Hosts a lovely little seating area for four (4), two tables for four (4) and then five tables for two people (2).
I believe they offer giftcards but they aren't prominently advertised. They offer specials but write them on printer paper the day of and don't offer what the special entails. They usually only have one or two employees working at once but probably will increase in busier seasons.
Overall, Mile High Coffee House is clean, open, friendly, and a great addition to Estes Park.

I don't know what the deal is or what the hours are. But lately this place feels constantly closed. Also don't trust the hour posted here online... I would call. Unfortunately I can't tell you anything else, because I haven't been, because they are usually closed... And I work right next door...
Revised: I now know what the deal is. In the off season... They are closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The sign on the door says open year round (which Obviously isn't true). But going forward, hopefully they will either be open. Or adjust the sign on the door to reflect accurate hours.

From our first coffee here to our 20th…..it’s always fresh and hot and really good. Fraps are amazing! So many other choices here too. Not just coffee. What makes it the best place in town though is Dani who runs the show, and Jessie and Esmeralda and Steven and all the other smiling and wonderful staff that took care of us. Feels like we made some dear friends as well as enjoyed some great coffee. Don’t miss this place while you are in Estes!!

What a hidden gem in Estes! It’s rare we go into small businesses and actually know who the leader is – well not here. As soon as you enter the shop, Daniela’s stellar personality and leadership shines through. She has a great crew too, and the coffee is good as well. I’ve been to many many coffee shops in Estes and beyond, so I can say undoubtedly that Mile High is special!

We had the best breakfast in Estes Park here. The breakfast sandwich were incredible as well as the coffee and espresso ☕️. All the waiters were very helpful and friendly while being fast and efficient. We definitely recommend it ans we will be back the next time we are in town

Slow service but they're super nice. My wrap was excellent but sad that when I returned at 2pm for a wrap a few days later, learned wraps aren't served at this time. (lunch time?) Busy location, waited in line a long time. (August, midweek)
