As a long time barista and coffee enthusiast. I can say that this is easily the best coffee and service in town. The staff is small, but extremely knowledgeable about the art and craft of coffee and the product shows this same passion by delivering a coffee experience truly unique to Durango.

If you’re looking for the best coffee Durango has to offer, you’ve found it. The Ethiopian pour over is simply amazing. The homemade blueberry scones are on point as well. If you’re a motor head, you’ll also dig the seriously cool car memorabilia throughout the shop.

Hands down the best cup of coffee you can get in Durango. Beans are quality and roasted locally by Desert Sun. The amount of care that goes in to each cup is unmatched. You will not find a better cup of coffee, no matter the style, anywhere else in town.

Great coffee and service; I had a latte and my husband did the Ethiopian as pour over. Liked the coffee so much we bought two bags of beans. It's tough to find coffee that isn't roasted into oblivion -- this coffee is fantastic

BEST COFFEE IN DURANGO! I wouldn't say I'm an absolute coffee connoisseur, however having four family members that are baristas has enabled me to know good coffee when I taste it. I have been to almost all the coffee shops in Durango and I can confidently say that Taste Coffee is my number one choice. Kudos for making great coffee. Both Ronnie and Kayla do a great job behind the bar.

Amazing specialty coffee, in a historically iconic location, with a drive for the growth of small, local business in SW Colorado. Don't look anywhere else for coffee (except 81301 Coffee on the North end of town) in Durango...stop HERE!
Here's the deal... This coffee is the best in town. I have loyalty to 81301 Coffee for several reasons, but this COFFEE is better. It's one of 25 coffee sellers in town and they are among the only ones doing TRUE Single Origin Light Roast coffee. You can truly #tastethedifference between each different roast and it's EPIC. The location is prime, the building is a historical icon of Durango, the owner and other barista are both knowledgeable, passionate, joyful, and fun to talk to. Whether you're a local, student at the Fort, or just passing through, this should be your coffee stop...without question.
If you want to truly #tastethedifference order one of their rotating single origin coffees on Angelic Brew. If you're a coffee snob, try one of the couple espressos on the Black Eagle. If you're interested in a perfect milky drink, order the cappuccino. If you want a locally made chocolate explosion, then order the Animas Chocolate Company Mocha. There are COUNTLESS options, but don't expect any syrups...cause this place is all about the coffee and its natural taste.

Not sure what is going on here, but there are many other places to go to get a cup of coffee and I suggest you do that. $12+ for a small and medium nitro brews. Cream added to the medium, nothing added to the small. If you can't make organic affordable, dont sell it! Don't waste your money. Even Starbucks is cheaper.

Yaaaay! A coffee shop that embraces the art of coffee <3! Coffee is not only a flavor - it is an experience and that is what I get from going to Taste. When we thought customer service was dead in the coffee industry, our faith was renewed. Thanks Taste! See you soon! PS. They have the best chai in town also
