Loop's Coffee House & Bistro

I stopped because I was passing through and needed a coffee. Glad I did. I enjoyed a very good, hand crafted latte and a fresh home made breakfast burrito.

I asked for a triple shot cortado and received a lukewarm 16 oz. drink. Not to mention the almond milk coffee I ordered that was room temperature on a sunny day. When I mentioned that my cortado should be 6-7 oz versus the large cup I received, they shrugged a sorry instead of apologizing and offering to remake my beverage. An expensive 2 star coffee.

Great food and great staff. Really recommend their burrito which is loaded and not all tortilla. If I'm in the area again, I'm coming back.

We drive up from Phoenix about once a year to visit family living in Durango and every year we have to drive through dolores to pick up an iced chai latte. They have the best I've ever tried and the employees are always very friendly.

Mom and pop place run by locals. Liked the atmosphere. Had doggie treats too!
