The Original

Max at The Original provided SUCH amazing service at our brunch outing today! The fire alarm went off right as we got our dishes, but Max and every staff member made sure to accommodate us regardless — even bringing out our meals to have a little picnic outside McGregor Square! Max has such a warm and wholesome approach to customer service and we will certainly be back soon. :)

Extremely overpriced. Drinks, food and service was not great at all. Water tasted like it was filtered through cardboard or something. White had a bloody Mary that was only tomato juice. Lemon drop shots were flavorless. Ask for a well done burger and it was pretty much raw. When replacing the burger it took forever to get so we had to take it to go. Overall I understand COVID is made things rough for everybody but prices and service are paying for it.

Breakfast was amazing. Service was also fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

If you are in the area this place is a must. I stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. My server Madalyn was on the ball, I nvr had to ask for a refill. The food was great. The atmosphere is so much fun. Don't miss out on this place.

We went to The Original during Denver day of Rock. Great location to sit and watch the bands with drinks and apps. The charred carrots, onion rings, and brussels sprouts were our favorites. Madalyn was our server and she was great, friendly and attentive, we will definitely be back.

I think they can keep that old feel while still updating. Pricing doesn't match the atmosphere. It felt more like a Dennys. Food was fine.

Great food, great experience! The doughnut sliders are delicious, and the staff is helpful - Raistlin especially!

My mom and I dined at The Original during Memorial Day Weekend and very much enjoyed our late afternoon snack while people-watching in the plaza. Tyler made our experience above and beyond, he was so attentive even as business continuously picked up while we were at the restaurant. I would recommend The Original for it's great team and location.

Lovely dinner experience! Delicious food! I turned 30 years old today and our server made my day by bringing my cake out with badass candles on it. We even offered him a slice of cake and he had it! What a very genuine person! Thank you Barney! You da bomb! ❤️🙂

The Original - where everything you ordered is subpar. Deviled egg "flight" costs $9 for 1.5 eggs. Short rib benedict was dry. Pancake was somehow doughy but also dry... and no sight of the mentioned whipped butter. After expressing some disappointment in the size of our deviled egg appitizer, we were not once asked how our main courses were.

It's crazy that this place exists and has patrons and foot traffic. Prob all location based due to McGregor Square and Coors Field.

Save yourself a disappointing meal, don't go here, and go to Snooze and endure the long wait list times.
