Metropolis Coffee

Blaring heavy metal music that the barista wouldn’t change when we requested. She said “I choose the music.” I asked “even if it causes your customers to leave?” She said yes. We left and she told us to have a nice day. I think there was one other customer in the place. Does the owner know this is how the staff treats their customers?

This coffee shop is my number one in Denver, and I drink a lot of coffee! The staff is always friendly, tunes are usually mellow and not overly loud, good place to study (especially the little upstairs), hang out, or just grab a coffee to go!

Nice and clean environment, good coffee and hot chocolate, and great customer service.

my favorite place on the broadway 🎭 neighborhood, the place is electric ⚡️ and love the down to earth vibe with the 🪴plants. the people here are unique and they do a great job with the coffee.

Their brown sugar and cinnamon latte was pretty good. I really like their pumpkin chocolate chip scone!

I spent the week in Denver for my birthday. One of my favorite things to do on vacation is check out different coffeeshops. This trip however, we returned almost everyday to this shop! Truly amazing service and coffee. The baristas are way too cool and nice. Anyway, highly suggest this place if you're looking for an amazing local shop. 5/13 - 5/19

Awesome coffee shop. Cool music and artwork, and stylish decorations and furniture. Baristas always serve up lovely latte art. The question of whether Metropolis's committment to doing only a few essential cafe beverages REALLY well, rather than offering a catalog of syrups and specialty drinks, comes down to a matter of opinion. I always love my drinks. I do wish the shop had better AC/ventilation (it can get stuffy, especially upstairs) and were open later than 6pm. Great hangout nonetheless!
