Terrible customer service. Dealt with the owner (Cassie) over the phone after my visit. My first time calling with a question regarding my order and she told me to take my coffee business elsewhere if I was unhappy. She was impatient & defensive from the get-go. Her employees are very friendly and helpful though. A pleasure to chat with while waiting for your order. I was so taken aback by her anger & defensiveness. I asked her, "You're angry because I'm asking a question?" She replied she'd had complaints about me from 2 of her employees which had to be a lie since she had no idea I'd be calling her & she had been very nice to me when I'd bought my coffee an hour before. I have never raised my voice, been rude or unruly while buying coffee & breakfast burritos here. I only wanted to understand how I was being charged as they do not give itemized receipts and my coffee charges fluctuated between $3-4.44. She blurted out as our conversation was coming to a close, "Did you like your coffee?" I said that it was very good. To which she replied, "You're welcome." I said, "Thank you" and hung up.
No amount of good coffee is worth being treated so poorly by a business owner. Coffee doesn't have a secret ingredient and can be duplicated at home when you use very good beans. And is much cheaper too. She must truly have a loyal following (to ensure that her doors stay open) to be able to talk to customers like she did.

The only problem I've ever had with this place is the lines, and being a local favorite, there isn't much they can do about that, don't worry though, even if there's 6 or 8 people in front of you, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes, and there's plenty of seating surrounded by the paintings of local artists. I've tried a few things and enjoyed them all, they have your average full coffee house menu, and they always have a few bagels, muffins, and other pastries. I recommend a dirty chai latte.

Great coffee. He made me a "real" capachino and knew exactly what I meant (not a smaller late!) Picked up day old scone.. is delicious but I would have preferred more nourishing breakfast but not offered here.

One of the best scones I've ever had. Coffee is very good.

The best coffee I have had since moving from California to Colorado. I love iced white mochas and this shop offers a delicious variety of added flavorings inside your white mocha , such as coconut , amaretto, hazelnut and more. Definitely stop in and get a coffee if you are in the area. The owner is fantastic too. They sell organic coffee.

Great coffee, great looking place, good service and clean restrooms. They have a nice lounge to hang out and sip your arabica quietly.

Amazing!! The best coffee in Western Colorado. There is nothing better than walking into an authentic coffee house in a small town. Great music, beautiful art and talented coffee slingers. I love the doghouse!
