The best espresso coffee in Colorado Springs by far! And the only place with a proper Flat White coffee in the city. Great food and exceptional service too.

I do not recommend this place. I would have given it a negative number of stars, if that was possible. I can honestly say that I don’t understand why this place gets so many positive reviews after going here. The coffee I drank was incredibly sour (literally like pure lemon juice) as was the attitude of the staff that worked there. They brought my wife and I the coffee we ordered and there was no area to help yourself to sugar, cream, etc., so we asked for some as some coffee shops do that but happily give some when asked. It was as if we’d asked the young woman who helped us to give up her future children. She gave us what we asked for, but there was a world of contempt in her attitude as she gave it to us. I know we were polite in our behavior. The lady who took our order and the lady who made the coffee were positively rotten. I asked my wife, if her experience with these two women was the same and she said it was. I generally support local coffee shops, but, if there is a Starbucks in the area, I recommend going there instead.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will say that I enjoy my lattes on the sweeter side so if you’re like me then ask for extra sweetener. They cater to coffee lovers. The atmosphere was perfect to study. Highly recommend!

This place has the best beans I've found so far. They also make excellent espresso with always 2 options for beans. They don't do dark roast which means better flavor by me. I see they weigh each espresso dose and use tools like ODT to make sure every shot is consistently good.

This place is AWESOME! Great atmosphere, food and coffee! So glad to have a walkable coffee shop in my neighborhood!

Perfect addition to the Switchback family. This location is always slightly calmer and quieter, attached to an old school. Love the open-air feeling and the baristas are always helpful and kind. Fantastic coffee and attention to detail. Latte art and espresso is top notch, plants everywhere, and their breakfast sandwich is delicious. Great alternative to the hustle and bustle of the Shooks Run location!

I just stopped in for a moment to check this place out and use the bathroom.. but wow! What a lovely atmosphere, well lit with outlets near the seating. Free wifi, living plants throughout the shop and even some in the gender neutral bathrooms! I will be back.

Went and got an iced coffee (which was delicious) with my sister we took it to go so we could take my girls (2 yrs 3 yrs and 8 yrs) to the fabulous play ground just behind the building. We ended up staying for almost 3 hours. So cute and clean and the staff was very friendly I would highly recommend.

I have been working my way through local roasters and was there to give them a try. I told the girl at the counter that I wanted to try their espresso beans. So I ordered an espresso and asked for a flat white to go. She said, "we don't make flat whites because they use a restretto shot and we only pull doubles". I said ok, let me have a dry cappuccino. She said "we don't make dry cappuccino because we don't add air to our milk when frothing". I further clarified that I just wanted an espresso with an equal part of steamed milk, she then condensendingly held up a 6 and 8 oz cup and said "this is what we make". I was shocked and asked, are you telling me you won't pull a shot and add a bit of milk. The guy behind the counter says, "we aren't the kind of shop you are used to". So I asked him, how do you know what I'm used to. He brought up Starbucks and their version of a flat white. I make my own coffee and have never orded a flat white from starbs.
This was not an enjoyable experience. I am a coffee nerd and am just trying to buy local. I have been using around 80 pounds a year, almost all from online sources.
These folks take themselves far too seriously. Btw, the girl made my cappuccino to go, it was a cup full of milk with some espresso in it. This is no one's definition of a cappuccino. /sigh.
