Lost Coffee is my favorite and frankly the best coffee shop in Castle Rock. They have the best tasting coffee and great, single source / craft whole bean selections.

Great coffee and service. Cutie place.

Quaint coffee shop in downtown Castle Rock that serves delicious coffee made by friendly baristas. Avoid peak hours if you don’t like waiting in line!

The barista was rude. After ordering and having the iPad screen flipped over aggressively, I paid and left a tip prior to service. I requested whole milk in my Americano. She made my boyfriends drink first and he didn’t know it came without dairy. I asked if she could possibly dump some out and put whole milk in his too. Acting inconvenienced, she poured some of his caramelized coffee out, gave us our drinks without milk, leaving a tiny bit of room in both. She then dropped a gallon of whole milk in front of us. It was awkward and never have I ever had a barista give me a gallon of milk and walk off. Neither my boyfriend or I could figure out what about the interaction irritated her since she was off putting from the start. I don’t know if having your customer pour their own dairy is the norm here? Either way, it wasn’t a great experience.

The coffee and staff are great! Unfortunately the place is tiny you couldn’t fit a pair of Hobbits in this place. There is never any seating available including outside! It is a big downside! I avoid this place for that reason alone. There is always a few folks just sitting on their computer problem working and taking all 6 seats in this joint. Go somewhere else to work and stop being so inconsiderate of others just saying.

I walked into Lost Coffee at 5:40 today. I ordered a large latte. The young man said to me that he had no more Coffee. I asked him what time he closes, he said 6:00. I politely said it is not 6 yet how can you have no Coffee. He said it takes 20 minutes to clean everything up. Closing time probably should have been 5:30 so he could start cleaning up.
Not happy since I walked there.

The best part of great coffee shops is awesome flavor, correct temperature, and accessibility in the way the staff and product present in the inviting and accommodating space of a vast world of coffee.
Lost Coffee is good, nice and easy stop in Castle Rock, between Colorado Springs and Denver. With a nice location in an interesting town, I think they could become great. Standard espresso drinks, drip, baked goods, check out their menu. Clean machines (most times), with basic roast and decent preparation. Alt milks available.

Not super into coffee but they happened to have fresh brewed everytime i went and never failed me. They do get a little packed and tend to become slowed down and can make minor errors (it happens) and iv had to deal with getting my order fixed or add a tad bit of syrups to add to. But overall good service and tasty coffee. Always made for a good morning walk around town.
