I’m a particular and hard to please Jewish delicatessen goer. That being said, this place rocked it out of the park! Incredible quality of meats. Tender, flavorful not overly salted pastrami and ham. Dense and chewy bagel (onion). Egg salad was simple and fresh. So fantastic that they have dip! I loved it, French onion dip with route 11 crab chips. Definitely recommend and will be going there again when in Carbondale.
Arguably the best bagel/sandwich that you can get within 50 miles. I had an excellent bagel. Non-pretentious, excellent food, great coffee, great indoor seating. I love food, and this might be my new favorite in Carbondale.
I’m visiting from out of town and thought I’d give this place a try. My wife and I went in to order takeout from the counter. The vibe was very welcoming— bright, clean, modern. Nostalgic 90’s rock. A cool and comfortable looking lounge area.
It’s a particularly busy day due to the Mountain Fair nearby, so we did have to wait about 20 mins for our order to be ready, and there wasn’t a very obvious, comfortable place to stand in the meantime— always felt like we were in someone’s way.
I ordered the pastrami on rye. It was extremely good. Great balance of flavors, and fresh tasting bread. My wife ordered the greek sneak, and she said it was good, but not amazing— bread was a little flimsy and insides fell out.
We would definitely and happily go back. My wife wants to try the salads which she said looked really good, from what she saw others eating. My rating is giving a little benefit of the doubt, because I suspect our experience would be better on a less particularly busy day.
Excited about this new spot! We’ve tried their bagels, coffee, & a few bakery items. Loved it all! Looking forward to trying lunch sometime. Staff is very friendly and the space is great.
Food is amazing! So many items made in house and it shows when you bite into the food. The only complaint that I have is the wait time. I waited around 4 minutes to place a drink order at their little cafe. Ended up skipping the drink since the barista person didn’t acknowledge me and let me know that it would be a bit before she could take my order. Besides that it’s definitely worth the time to wait for food. Will be coming back for sure!

They have bagels...but no tuna salad.
C'mon now.
Then tried for egg salad ...and they were out. On a SUNDAY.

This is a super hip place to grab a sandwich and a coffee with both indoor & outdoor seating.
