Dutch Mill Cafe

I drive from Santa Fe, two hours just for the flying Dutchman burger with the battered fries!

Unfortunately we went back this past weekend and had the worst experience. The server greeted us quickly enough then never came back and pointedly avoided eye contact and ignored us for 25 minutes before we finally left. I am kinda heartbroken:(

Great place to eat. Best chili in the valley. Good food takes time. Be patient, it's definitely not fast food.

Nice place in a small town. The food was very good. I had Mexican food, just needed a little more heat. Nice price.

Husband and I were hungry while road-tripping. We had passed all the usual drive through places but wanted something different. Then we came across Dutch Mill Cafe. The food was awesome. Large portions, very tasty, a large menu selection, and with items that are different from the norm. I had the beef gravy 'sandwich' with mashed potatos. Was very tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. They seemed to have a lot of local custom too with customers coming in and out to collect takeouts.

The environment was freezing. We had to sit ourselves and get our own menus as there was no one around. There were only 2 other people in the place and they interrupted our waitress while she was taking our order to ask her something because they hadn't seen her. The food came quick, the portions were smaller than I thought they'd be. We had to go find the waitress each time we needed something, the service was ridiculous, slow, and she seemed to care less. Not really worth the price or service, we won't be back.

No no no. To think that this is a nice small town restaurant would be inaccurate. To think that you'd get small town hospitality while attempting to eat here would be a mistake. Went in to place a to go order. Waited 45 mins and my food still wasn't ready. Watched several patron come in eat and leave all while I waited at the bar. I eventually left after asking the waitress (who to my order) where my food was. She ignored me as she walked past me. I further more had to endure the ranting of either the manager or owner complaining about how a different waitress left her shift too early. Yuck... the food maybe good but I'll never know cause I never got it! And I never plan to go back.

Staff members was fantastic very pleased with the service and the food. They went out of their way to accommodate my family while watching a sporting event while at the restaurant/bar. Would like to Thank you and your staff for a excellent experience!!!!!!

The service the food is awesome the people are great and the prices are good so stop anytime you're in town it's the bomb
