Food was delicious! Plates a big though so bring your appetite.

My family and I often split the chicken fried steak breakfast. Big, tender, gravy covered fried steak, two eggs, hash browns or homestyle potatoes, toast or biscuits & gravy. It's HUGE, fresh, and one of the best.
The restaurant has a homey, Western ambiance, the two friendly owners are often there taking orders, clearing tables, in the kitchen, greeting diners, etc. It's not a huge place but that's part of the charm. It's a local treasure for breaky or lunch, along hwy 62, at the edge of town, serving traveling tourists and locals alike.

Best omelette I have ever had! The HOBO omelette! Get you one! Bacon, ham, two types of cheeses, diced peppers, onions and anything else that made it taste so good! I was almost finished when I remembered I should probably take a pic.

Best pancakes that I have even eaten! The staff was amazing even when it was crazy busy on a Saturday morning!
The sausage patties… so tasty! Too bad I live in Iowa, I would eat here every week!

I would give 5 stars BUT me and my wife had to wait for about 15 minutes just to get our drinks and tell them what we want to order. other then that, the people were friendly and the food was really good! only reason i knocked a star off is because we had a long wait to get food. Its very small inside so you are very close to other tables and people but you also have outside dining if you get overwhelmed with that like me lol. overall I would recommend eating here if you are not in a rush and have about an hour for breakfast.

Stop on in and get some damn good comfort food. Service was fast and nice. The food was great. I would definitely go back.

Being a local of 29 Palms we finally made it to this little gem. Husband had the chicken fried steak, he said it was delicious. I had the breakfast BLT. And it was very, very good. But the sausage was amazing with lots of flavor. Highly recommend!! The waitress was amazing, we didn’t have to ask for anything she made sure to ask if we needed anything. Yes, it was a little busy but all of the employees handled it with grace and a smile on their face. We will be back. Thank you for the great breakfast!!

Portions are VERY big. Nice home-style food. Pretty average. Waiters are very friendly!

YES! Come here for breakfast! Hands-down the best spot in Joshua tree and we’ve tried many of the places in this area! The food was awesome and the staff was super friendly. If you want a good solid breakfast in Joshua tree come here.
