Incredible restaurant! Small shop with only one cook who’s created a. incredible meal. The staff is kind and grateful. I felt like I was getting a home cooked meal from my grandma.
When I return to Joshua Tree, I absolutely will be coming back here

Wow wow wow. Amazing owner and cook. Amazing staff. They went above and beyond to make our big group feel like family coming over on a whim to eat dinner. Absolutely delicious. Felt like I went over to my aunty’s for dinner & she was so happy to see and serve me and my friends. Thank you for your food and hospitality!

Highly recommended if you want to feel like you are eating a home cooked Korean meal. We just came back from 3 months in Korea, and 8 Star Cafe really hit the spot. The bulgogi and soft tofu soups are perfectly flavored, and we look forward to visiting the kind aunty who fed us well again!

We ordered the rice cake soup and the dumpling tofu soup. Both tasted comforting and home cooked, perfect for a cold night! The owners were very friendly and generous with the portions. Would definitely make a trip to come back!

Very nice lady at the cash register, and the boba is amazing. i love going here. It has recently become my go-to boba shop, and the Korean food is really good. i definitely recommend anyone to go here if they're interested in good Korean food and boba drinks.

8 Star Cafe needs way more attention than it gets. I used to eat here a lot before I moved away, and I still think about this place. The owner is so nice and you have to try the spicy pork bulgogi!

super yummy food and drinks, and very sweet older korean ladies running the place. i got a thai iced tea with almond milk and a shot of espresso and crab gimbap. so delicious!
