Been there about 10 times while driving from Walnut Creek to La Pine Oregon. They make the best homemade bread and they have super sandwiches and great pastries. Go now!

$6 tasteless watery latte. Bummer.

The food and service quality is excellent and consistent.

Adorable place, I went with 6 teenagers and the staff was incredibly patient. Delicious cookies! Cute little town with nothing to do, but it seemed like everyone went there. Loved it.

The food was very good, but too expensive. The hand made ice cream sandwich was ridiculously expensive! :-( I won't be coming back here again.

Stopped at Ellie's on my drive to the Tri-Cities from the bay area. Nice staff, double espresso was good. WiFi was free! Nice touch and will definitely stop again

Every trip between Ashland and the Bay Area has one immutable requirement...chicken salad on fresh baked multi-grain at Ellie's. It's that good. Coffee is ok.
Update 18 April 2018. Well, pooh. Ellie's under new ownership and the magic of the old staff has departed. Still prob best quick sandwiches in Weed.....but...better to stop in Shasta City at Berryville Grocery for healthy hippie lunch.

We stopped here while on a road trip. It was a great alternative to fast food. It was fast and really fresh. The portions were really big and a good price.

Best breakfast burrito ever. So good. Really good coffee too. Be patient, not super fast but worth it!

Our family has been stopping by Ellie's since the early '90's. We stop for the wonderful sandwiches and I am not a big sandwich eater but their bread is fabulous!
