Palm & Boy Coffee and Acai

Nestled in the downtown Ventura's El Jardin Courtyard (451 E. Main St.), a few blocks from the beach and just off Main Street, Palm & Boy (Stoked Coffee's new name) has great espresso, avocado toast, cappuccinos, friendly (mostly), easy-going staff, and fabulous acai bowls! We were evacuated during the December fires & this was our shelter from the storm, for morning coffee & avocado toast (with arugula, lemon salt & red pepper flakes). The courtyard is beautiful. While waiting for your order, take time to view the artistic mosaic tile work that remains in front of the store just down the courtyard from Palm & Boy. Done years ago, by talented, Ventura-based, Serbian artist, Ksenia McEuen, it always captures my eye. Then take a look at the Toulouse-Lautrec mural in the stairway hall, painted years ago by now deceased artist, Seco. By the time you're done viewing the art, your breakfast/cappuccino should be ready! There are always nice people sitting close by, so be ready to strike up a conversation with another beach combing diner, or just enjoy the Euro-feel courtyard in the morning light.

The acai here is top notch! Nice and frozen. The coffee is great, the people are great, and the patio is the nicest. My favorite spot in Ventura!

They made a great açai bowl, though I would have liked a food ratio with a little less cold sorbet.

Stoked has a very friendly staff. Their vanilla latte is smooth. The frothy little heart in my cup is a nice touch. Check this little hidden gem out!

INCREDIBLE COFFEE! It was my first time trying acai bowls and I loved it... But don't how how it compares lol. Great vibe awesome coffee.

Rad little gem of a coffee shop, quality espresso drinks, avocado toast and great bowls. Def worth a stop if your heading to venture or looking for good coffee.

Great energy, toast and bowl were delicious. The bowl is big and great value for money. coffee is excellent.

Worst Expresso I ever had. Also the Cappuccino didn't tast at all. Coffee taste was very sour. Also the Hot chocolate didn't taste as real chocolate. Total of $14,- down the drain.

Really solid coffee and PB acai bowl hits the spot. Great service with baristas and staff with positive attitude!
