One of two places I go for coffee beans. A wonderful company that supports our community and communities abroad.

Cyndi and Erika La

The coffee is quite good- on the pricier side but worth it… as long as it’s to go.

I ordered a $4 coffee of the day (plus tip)for here, and I brought my laptop to get some work done for an hour or so. Went to plug in my laptop and there were no outlets anywhere… I asked the barista if there was anywhere I could plug in and she said no. Super bummed to take my coffee to go and be left looking for somewhere else to get some work done.

I understand people camp out at shops for too long without continuing to support said business, but that was not what I was planning to do. Guess I’ll have to find a different place to frequent. :(

Enjoyed matcha tea with almond milk.
I wish they could offer more types of teas.

wowwwwwww! Writing this review just after finishing my coffee. I was looking for somewhere to stop on my way from LA to Santa Barbara and just googled a local shop to stop at. Was not expecting it to be so amazing. I was a barista for a while and I’m a big coffee fiend. I promise this is way better than Starbucks, one of the best oat milk lattes I’ve had in a long time! The espresso tastes great 10/10

It is nestled in a bunch of non-food businesses, so when I was driving up I wasn’t sure if it was the right place. But not a big deal, it’s really close off the freeway and definitely not hard to find. I will come back again if I’m in the area. Also the baristas were super nice!!

Following appropriate COVID safety procedures as well :)

Great local coffee joint. Love the atmosphere as well as the drinks. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere in terms of location but it's not too hard to find the first time

Also worth joining the collective if you enjoy fresh and locally roasted coffee. You can decide how many bags a month you get and you can pick it up once a month(or more if. You select multiple bags).

One of my favorite local spots and the recommendations are usually spot on, they really know their coffee there.

A bit pricey for a one size only latte. I had the house almond milk and it was pretty dang bitter, I drink a latte pretty much every morning and this is the first I didn't finish due to it being not good. It seem like the coffee itself is good, but the almond milk really ruined it and it was like $1.25 more? If I go back I'd steer clear of the almond milk unless u really sweeten ur drinks up with something else, but at $1+ more its not worth it.

What a cute little coffee shop! I visited here during COVID, so there was a little booth outside where we got our coffee, it was clear the staff was careful and considerate and the whole experience felt very safe. We talked to one of the baristas, a fantastic young pregnant lady who was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She spoke and laughed with us and it felt like home, even while traveling.

The coffee was good, and it was clear that it was made with passion like small-batch, locally owned coffee shops often are. The baked goods looked delicious, the display was melting chocolate chips in the sun, gooey goodness!

I drank a small chai and my friend had an iced coffee and both were delicious!

Unfortunately, the front is lackluster and it's actually a little difficult to find. There is a distinct lack of signage and the location make it seem like a rare find. I'd love to see this shop with a bit more of an advertising budget!

I was visiting my daughter who attends CLU and was looking for a best coffee locally. My report- Excellent latte and very nice drip coffee. Friendly staff and fast service. It’s a bit hard to find indeed, but worth of small effort. It was delicious start of every of the five days spent there.

Beacon is where my love for coffee began about 8 years ago. It was the first place I had a quality cup of coffee and sent me spiraling into the world of caffeine. Haha, seriously though, they do an amazing job! The owners, John and Jenn are so knowledgeable, open and sweet folks. They set the foundation of what good coffee is, responsible growing and processing with coffee farms around the world, brewing methods and is a lovely place to relax for a bit and enjoy a locally made snack and a hot cup of coffee, espresso, latte, hot cocoa, etc. Come here if you want your eyes opened To the world of tasty coffee. It will ruin your St. Arbucks and 2nd wave coffee forever. 🤣❤☕️
