Mama's Cafe

The food was average and the service was bad. Our waitress was inattentive and unfriendly. We felt invisible when we arrived, the staff seemed to be ignoring our table. A stone-faced waitress finally came by and took our order. Food took a long time to arrive. The waitress dropped our food on the table and turned around and started walking away without asking us if we needed anything else - I had to raise my voice to grab her attention as she walked away for my one and only coffee refill. My wife did not receive her espresso drink until the food arrived. The waitress never asked us how our food was. I won't return to this place.

I had lunch here with a friend the other day. Neither one of us liked it that well. It was too foo foo for my tastes, trying to be more trendy than tasty.

I had the Focaccia Chicken Pesto. It was OK but was trying too hard. There were a lot of flavors but they didn't blend well. Some were overpowering.

We sat outside. It was warm but quite.

Delicious, like-homemade meals. My favorite breakfast place in town. Great lunch menu, too! Must have items: eggs Benedict (terrific hollandaise with a hint of lemon to it), any of their Roadrunner specials (breakfast sandwich), BLAT on toasted sourdough, cinnamon sour cream muffin, cheese bread sticks. If extra hungry, add a side of crispy, golden breakfast potatoes and an espresso drink.

Covered & heated patio open. Great eggs benedict variety as well as other breakfast fare. Lunch menu salads, sandwiches, etc. Quiet and pleasant dining in garden patio. Friendly service.

Atmosphere was nice and quite.
Small menu made for easy pickings.
Parking was simple and the staff went above and beyond. Will definitely be returning.

I picked up a box of goodies for clients today and had a ginger molasses cookie for myself. My cookie was soft and had a little kick of ginger, balanced by the sweet molasses. My client raves about her box of goodies so I will be back next time I’m in the area. Lots of gluten free options

I absolutely love this Café. Mama's is a little hole in the wall adjacent to Alex Thomas plaza. The food here ranges from homestyle, to healthy eating and the breakfast is to die for. The serving staff are all really friendly, and service is fast. The seating is rather limited, not the ideal place for big groups, but for couples and small families this is an ideal place to enjoy breakfast or lunch.

Waited 30 minutes to be told my order never went back to the kitchen. Completely ignored a customer

Waitress was really bad and the prices were high even for the area. Though the food was fresh.

6-STARS, They have the best potatoes I've ever had, seriously, they're amazing!
Great coffee, GLUTEN FREE toast and all sorts of yummy dishes. I could eat breakfast at Mama's Cafe everyday always.
