All the cute little cottage feels!
Burritos are massive with great tastes, the white mocha coffee paired with the coffee cake and pumpkin cookie was yummy too!
On a chilly day you're trying to get dibs on the tables inside or you buck up in the shade and devour your brekkie like we did.
Service was fast and friendly!
We'll definitely visit here on our next vacay!

Decent breakfast, and pretty location (right on the river). Burritos were straightforward and tasty. Latte was okay. Small selection of bakery items. They have outdoor seating for when the weather's nice, and a small amount of seating indoors.

Best Dam Cafe in town!!! Amazing breakfast and coffee and a cinnamon bun to die for. Progressive, Critical Thinkers... Very nice vibe in these times.

This Dam Cafe is just Ok. The food and coffee is not horrible but it's not good either. They are very proud of their menu items and coffee. For two 16oz lattes and two small breakfast burritos your total will be about $36. I repeat this food and coffee is not horrible but it is also not $36 good.

Bad experience.
First, they only serve sandwiches and burritos for lunch. So, we ordered the turkey sandwich. Oops...no turkey today. Alright, we switched to the BLT. The bacon was so crispy and layered that it cut my mouth. The bread was also dry and hard, compounding the problem.
Service was poor. The register lady seemed to be the owner. She was indifferent to us and didn't even apologize for not having turkey.
Prices were outrageously high! We paid our bill, left our inedible meal on the table, and drove to Rosie's Cafe for some REAL food.
Not a fan of this "restaurant."

Great little spot to grab a fantastic Breakfast Burrito (add bacon!) A favorite of locals and those passing through to hit the slopes. Espresso drinks are fast and delicious, and the see ice is quick although they can get busy on weekends.

We ordered both of their turkey sandwiches one hot and the other cold and they were both dry and not very tasty. Not worth the $11 each for sure. Go to Safeway their sandwiches and several times better.

the food was just okay, and definitely not worth the 50 minute wait! but cute and fun looking interior

These beautiful people start my day right multiple times a week. Food and service made with only the kind of heartfelt love you get in our small town paradise. The breakfast burritos are the absolute must have -to go- option before setting out on your Tahoe adventure. xoxo Dam Cafe

Solid food, didn't love the selection. Service was disappointing.
response to reply from owner:
I appreciate the follow up. Regarding the service: I ordered a coffee with breakfast around noon. The coffee I wanted was out, and I brought it to the attention of staff. They told me it was too late in the day to make a new pot and refused to refresh it. Are you kidding? A pot of coffee was too much trouble and expense?
