Got a cold brew, nitro cold brew, an iced chai and a matcha green tea latte. They all tasted pretty watered down and my cold brew tasted acidic. They couldn't answer me and I asked where their coffee comes from and they were overall pretty unhelpful. The icing on the cake was when we walked up to the counter to get our drinks and the barista didn't even wait for us to turn away when he shoved food down his mouth. He continued to eat at the counter until it was time for him to make another coffee and he didn't even wash his hands. That was the biggest turn off and the reason why I'm writing this review. I will not be returning but hopefully their service, product knowledge, and sanitation improves.

They have coconut and almond milk here and the Travis, the barista, made the best non-dairy cap I've had since going to Timeless in Oakland. They specialize in non-dairy coffee drinks and he could hold his own with them for sure. And the Stumptown beans with the coconut milk was sublime... I'll never know know how these wizards make the latte art look so great without the milk fat!

Good coffee, all sorts of “milks”.
Their small food section has no pricing, so I’m assuming it’s overpriced. Small sitting area.
But definitely a good place to grab a cup of hot beverage to go.

Not a lot of seating but good coffee and a fun atmosphere. If you go on a Sunday afternoon you can stroll the farmers market right outside. I stopped in for their Minnie Mouse Rock the Dots collaboration.

Very disappointed. Was in the neighborhood looking for a specialty coffee shop. Got a pastry (scone) and it was burnt and dry. Got the coffee (drip) and it was severely lacking. Alfred Coffee looks to be an outfit passionate about marketing (based on lots of private label items) and not coffee (based on sourcing coffee from Stumptown which is owned by Peet's vs roasting their own.) Prices are higher than a good third wave coffee shop, and quality is far lower.

Great vibe and it had wifi. Staff was friendly! It serves Stumptown coffee which is good but not great: LA offers so many choices of smaller more boutique espressos.
