Switched to Barefoot from Lofty since it's cozier and service is so friendly. In addition, they have "normal" food choices and not vegan zucchini or lavender muffins. Kudos to the employees at Barefoot. Love it

New addition to the Cedros neighborhood brings a stylish cafe with original coffee libations and a small menu of fresh food items.
With a beautiful outdoor seating area nestled into the the quieter part of the street it's a great place to grab some brew, read a book, or do a little work.
This part of the street needed a reason to walk down further so excited they opened this place up to make Cedros a little more lively!

Really cute place with fire pits outside. I love that it's at the end if Cedros so you can walk the entire length of the design district and not miss a thing.

Barefoot deserves five stars merely because they offer vegan/GF pastries. Friendly staff and lots of great seating indoors with access to outlets. Love this spot!

Cute indoor / outdoor coffee shop with bomb food & a great vibe! Highly recommend the Cardiff crack sandwich & the avocado goat cheese salad (especially if you love the perfect dressing mix of balsamic dijon). We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Solana Beach.

One of my favorite things to do is check out local places. Yummy hot Vanitte with oat milk. They also serve food, craft beer and wine and have a patio to hang out. Loved this neighborhood gem. Will definitely be back.

I like this spot but it’s not consistent enough for me. The food is hot or miss, coffee is ok. They serve a beer in the afternoon which is great if I hop of the train and are skating home. They have seething. The staff is always changing and never see the same faces more than 3 times.

We got a latte and specialty coffee called voodoo. Both had great and unique tastes. The interior is modern, clean and spacious as well!

Mocha Borgia and Mexican Mocha were both great. Also Cacophony has a nice smoky flavor but it comes in a small cup. My favorite one among all of them is Mocha Borgia!

I tried their lavender latte as well. And it tastes great!

The coffee was good, but it was served in a cup without saucer. My husband liked his beer, but it was served in a plastic cup. The tacos were prepared with vegetables that were probably not fresh. I felt queasy after eating there. Definitely, it was my last time there.

Airy and breezy location for this coffee shop chain. It invites you to relax with a nice cup and pastry. Right under the Design District sign.
