Great place to stop for coffee before or after the hike, maybe both ways.

Best cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time! Quite expensive but WORTH the price! Vanilla latte was perfect for the day and vibes outside. Nikki made a great cup of coffee, we will be coming back when we are back in town!

Usually great location for having coffee and tea except rainy day(not much sittings are available)

Great coffee and pastries. Small spot with very few tables.

Best espresso I've had to date! It's acidic but also very fruit forward! Their hojicha latte, cold brew, and toast with Earl Grey milk jam and yuzu marmalade are all individually worthy reasons to to make the trip!

Updating my review! I visited Sue’s for the first time in a couple years and in my opinion, it’s the best coffee shop in the South Bay. First off, the people working are so kind and somehow always remember my name, even after two years of living away. They started roasting their own and the coffee is really good. Their pastries have always been amazing (from the incredible Satura), and their patio is magical on a nice, warm day. Definitely check them out, but be aware that the weekend traffic gets pretty busy with all the cars and cyclists driving up Hwy 9.

This is a good place and we have been loyal customers for many years but there are a few persistent issues that the owners do not seem to care about fixing.
Over and over they run out of pastries by 12 pm ( taken the cafe is open till 6 pm!!) and there is barely anything to go with your coffee unless you come at 10 am. How hard is it to increase the amount of pastries ordered from the vendor??
They still didnt bring back proper cups and plates until now. The place is pretty pricey and it is not ok to drink almost $8 coffee from a paper cup. Their cups and plates have been part of the ambience. We started bringing our own cups recognizing the circumstances but all the other places brought proper cups back by now. We visited today and I spilled black charcoal latte on my white jeans while pouring from the paper cup to my cup...
And lastly the internet is never working properly. This is not the place if you need good connection for work.
