I had no idea Acres has new owners...it's AVID now and still ever so good

Good coffee, but the girl who took our order was in a terrible mood. My sister ordered a genmaicha and she pronounced it with a hard g
The girl was like "huh? Oh you mean Genmaicha" (soft g). Just the way she said it was hella rude, it was so dumb and annoying lol. Won't be avoiding the place bc coffee is standard 3rd wave good, but not a high recommendation either.

Coffee is high quality, very fresh and not burnt! I used to go here often when I lived down the street. One of the better places to get coffee is you care about taste and want something that is not generic.
They are often very crowded and the wait can be long though. Customer service is not consistent.

Great coffee; excellent food; very friendly & helpful staff; clean , airy, & inviting building.

Great coffee and food. Been coming here for a long time. Always enjoy the drinks.

Just one thing though lately. It could be the time of year, but there are tons of flys inside. Very distracting while trying get work done.

Occasionally I'll stop here for a cup of coffee out of convenience more than anything, rarely will I get more than that. Today I stopped at the Montgomery village location and since there wasn't a big line decided to order a mocha and breakfast sandwich. 15+ minutes passes and 3 orders behind me, one of which was a family of 3, receives their orders of both food and drinks. Frustrated enough to not even care to say anything, I just left and let them have my money and keep my order. I've tried multiple times to enjoy them because usually it's good coffee and food, but the service is so unbelievably slow and unorganized it's just not worth giving them any more chances. I don't want anything from them, I don't want a "were sorry here's a freebie give us another shot", I want the owner or managers etc to read these reviews and DO SOMETHING about their consistently slow service. They should have done something about that prior to opening a pizza place in their restaurants. Saw the sign go up in Petaluma and laughed about it. A Stouffer's french bread pizza probably cooks faster than their kitchen does!

Had a great latte! I was there in the afternoon and it had limited pastry options. It was a little crowded for my comfort but everyone was wearing masks and following safty protocols.

Michael Shubin

My best place for ice coffee and bakery with decent people.

Acre Coffee is a really nice Coffee Shop where you can get together with a friend or friends. Since I stopped drinking caffeine about 2 years ago, I have their Hibiscus, Caffeine-Free Tea, which is very good! I've also seen my friends order coffee and/or latte's from there, and they look very good. And Acre Coffee personnel put the cream on top of the coffees in a nice, fancy design. They make all of their coffees and teas fresh, right there in the Coffee Shop.

Great coffee and food, but very full. It can be tough to find a table among the nice customers having impromptu meetings or catching up. It can be a little louder than most coffee shops if you're looking for a place to work. Yes, there is free WiFi.
