Great coffee and food, and fast service! They also sell their own coffee beans

They have sick staff working without mask _ my wife and I both got sick from one of their employees.. terrible

Bluestone is my favorite coffee from coast to coast (have tried it in NY and LA) good variety, amazing flavor. Good and fast service. The location in Sta Monica is not great, the block is a bit sad and with a lot of constructions going on around the area.

I stopped going here for months because service is extremely slow and baristas hardly acknowledge anyone. I figured after some time maybe the staff changed or the systems were better. Today I made an order at 9:13am with the “promise time” of 9:18am. I don’t mind waiting 5 min or even a little more than that. I used to be a barista and get how orders can flood in and the machine automated the pick up times. my order was put on the counter at 9:34am. I showed up around the pick up time not expecting it to be ready, but It wasn’t until about 9:27 did I see anyone start working on the drink. The woman making it got on the phone to talk to someone with what sound like logistical or machine issues they were having. I don’t know if that had anything to do with the smoothies that were in queue but it didn’t seem relevant to making them since the blender was working just fine.
Whoever is in charge of setting the system to prompt automated pick up times needs to adjust it so that patrons aren’t standing around waiting. I’m a 5 min walk from here and would have been cool if the pick up time was 20 min later so I could just leave my place later. I recognize the pick up time can’t be adjusted by the baristas but I feel like the casualness of their making the orders was just as disappointing. The guy on the espresso bar seemed to be on point with his orders. Everyone seems so unhappy there.

Hi- I went to Bluestone Lane with my daughter and the service was bad. The crew didn't acknowledge anyone. I mean at least say good morning or welcome 🤷 let us know if you have any questions...
That should haven been my queue to leave.
The lattes my daughter and I ordered were terrible the Macha latte was awful tasting. My daughter's vanilla latte was not a vanilla latte whatsoever... what horrible coffee. We threw them out as I couldn't even doctor it up. Ended up ordering from Starbucks.
What a waste.

I’ll start off by saying I’m a massive bluestone fan. I’ve been to about seven locations in three different cities, including two countries. Their oat milk lattes are THE BEST. I always grab a bag of espresso beans to bring home with me too (make that as many as will fit in my carryon). While I usually also love their food, this location was disappointing. I’m not sure if it was due to the pandemic but the avocado toast, which is my go to, was on regular toast, it wasn’t anything special. The inside of the store was also closed so we sat on the sidewalk - nice to have an option to sit, but it was on a busy street with homeless people outside … a common sight in California sadly. Coffee was 5/5 … food was 3/5.

Amazing break fast! You can do Began and Gluten-free.

This coffee is so expensive for pretty average coffee. $7.65 for an iced latte that doesn’t even taste good? So disappointing - now I know why they don’t list their prices on the menu or anything
