The smoothies here are probably the best thing. The bakery is also pretty good. I haven't had a great experience with the sandwiches but maybe I just haven't gotten the right ones. A good lunch place to go every once in a while but not very special.

I've been to this Daily Grind a couple of times. The drinks were fine on both occasions, but the people working the counter are not the friendliest. There are better places to get a coffee and pastry just a short distance down De La Vina.

Horrible service and quality. I grew up going to the original Daily Grind on Mission and De La Vina, and this location is a complete disappointment. Don’t waste your money or time. The cashier barely noticed we were there, paid not attention to us and once we paid didn’t say “thank you” or “it’ll be right out”. She just turned right around and started laughing and messing around with her friends behind the counter. I paid $16 for 2 muffins and 2 Mochas - which tasted like they put zero mocha flavoring in.

If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t think this location has any relation to the original location on Mission. Typically I actively avoid this location, but I was short on time and went against my better judgment.

This place is bomb. The chorizo breakfast burrito was delicious. Staff was cool too, would definitely come back and recommend

Wow. Great restaurant with no wait and delicious food. The salsa was kinda to hot, but you could just not put it on. The bacon was thick, the eggs were beautifully made and tasted great, the potatos were potatos. Oh did I mention that they are Eco Friendly!? Also the employees were very nice and helpful and should get a raise.

Very poor customer service and experience. Though we are local and live nearby, it is was likely our last time at this place. Me and my son came here for breakfast on Veterans Day 2021 at 9 am. Place was empty. Simple order… bagel, muffin and lox-bagel … 20 min later lox-bagel (i.e. half of our order) was not ready while the rest was getting cold and stale. After my second check, we were told that our order was dropped on the floor and will have to be redone but they are out of bagel we initially ordered. I told them ok, but since I have bad knees (56 yr old Army Vet) I have asked them to bring it out when ready, so I do not have to come for the 4th time to check/order. The young sleepy man at the counter was very indifferent, non-apologetic and rude. I told him that we are running late for the Veterans Day ceremony at the Cemetery starting at 10 am. He could not care less and after another 10-15 minutes, our food was still not brought to us (sitting at the counter). We have canceled the remainder of order and left. They had not even care to apologies. This is not a way to treat any customer and especially a one with physical disability on the Veterans Day with a young kid... Beware when you go … or not... Handlebarcoffe is just a down the street with better and friendly service, better coffee and even plates and silverware (can you imagine? so you do not have to eat on the napkins at the dirty tables like at this place).
To all Veterans; “Thank you for choosing to serve!”

Had a mediocre bland sandwich with stale break and zero seasoning. Wouldn’t eat here again

NOT cheap, but a Santa Barbara classic, with a huge menu and lots of outdoor tables under the trees in a very accessible location with decent parking. Smoothies are a little too icy, but egg bagels are huge and delicious.

Good fresh sandwiches, we got multiple sandwiches and they were pretty darn good. Also they have a white chocolate "hot chocolate". It came with chips to round it off :)

Walked up at 3:12pm. Website said they closed at 4pm. There was a person cleaning up who was unbelievably rude. Forcefully telling us “we’re closed!” . Long story short…didn’t want to argue. So headed to Dune Coffee Roasters. The service was amazing and the coffee was way better anyway.
