It's so refreshing to go somewhere as a stranger and to be greeted warmly! The people here are genuine full of good cheer and smiles. It doesn't hurt that they serve the best cup of coffee in Santa Barbara! A deep hearfelt thanks to Breeze and her co-workers! Much love from your Malibu guest!

A new favorite stop along 101! Wonderful people, great food and drinks, delightful atmosphere. We were stuck with our 5 kiddos in the horrendous day-after-Christmas traffic, and this was our rescue. Yummy muffins and smoothies for the kiddos and a heavenly egg-nog latte for me! Thanks Java Station!!! ❤️☺️❤️

Love the atmosphere but every time I ask for my beverage extra hot it’s still tepid at best. Today after tasting my drink it wasn’t very hot so I mentioned it to the girl who made it. Her response ‘Wow! If I served that to someone else they’d burn their tongue! But I can re-steam it if you’d like.’ I shrugged, said no thanks and left with my drink. That was such a passive aggressive response. How does she know if it would burn someone? She didn’t taste it. I did and I guarantee you it was not hot! It was warm. And it was a large in a medium cup with an inch of foam. If I’d wanted that much foam I’d order a cappuccino. I feel petty for complaining about a coffee but when I was charged $5.71 I figure it needs pointing out.

Recently have seen some great improvements! I love a lot of the female staff as they are nice and friendly! Like the updates and changes to the cafe. I continue to bring my friends and people I know to your cafe! Good coffee and bagel sammies!

If you're north of Santa Barbara this is one of the best places to spend an hour over a cup of coffee ....it's a great meetup spot.my favorite is the bagels and cream cheese with tomatoes and they have this delicious special seasoned salt that they add to them.... yummy

Living in Santa Barbara most of my life, this has become my go to place for coffee, board games, and camaraderie. It has a laid back, friendly atmosphere. There's plenty of other coffee shops to go to in a rush, take your time and enjoy this one.

I’ve been here a few times, generally for black coffee. I love the variety they have of this and the discount they offer for bringing your own container. I also love the atmosphere.
On Wednesday, I asked for two, small dirty chais and a bagel + avo + cc. The chais were $4.95 each for a “small”— 8 ounces. I’m all about supporting local businesses because local is better! But unfortunately this was disappointing chai because it tasted like the ingredient ratio was off. I’ve had a dirty chai here before so it was just a confusing experience taste buds wise.
Overall, I would go back, but not for a dirty chai. Also, you should try their bagel + tomato + lemon pepper + cream cheese + onion + cheese. Delish.

Been going here for years. Awesome staff. The sandwiches and bagels are good but some of the food is a bit bland. The drinks are good, but specialty drinks like Mocha are sometimes inconsistent from barista to barista. This is a favorite haunt of the UCSB crowd so expect to wait for a seat during school season.
That being said, there's just something great about this place that's hard to define. Good energy I guess.
