Skippers Brew Coffee House - SLO

Excellent espresso, friendly employees, inviting atmosphere. If I lived in the area this would, without a doubt, be my everyday coffee shop.

The espresso here has a very well rounded body, not too acidic and no bitterness. Highly recommend the espresso, flat white or just a cup of their black light roast coffee.

I'm jealous of anyone who lives in SLO and gets to enjoy Skippers Brew all the time. We stopped on our way back to the Bay Area from the central coast and had a wonderful experience.

The owners and staff were working hard on a busy Sunday, but we ordered our drinks and had them in hand and found a great spot on the patio in no time at all.

The crowd is friendly and clearly having a good time. The drinks were fabulous. We tried 3 different matcha lattes- taro, coconut and blueberry and enjoyed them all. My favorite may have been the blueberry, but coconut was delish too!

Definitely will make it a stop whenever we make it down that way.

My first time here and the staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Sat outside on a beautiful, sunny day. Had the vegan roll - yummy! The matcha lemonade was very refreshing as recommended. Great spot to meet up with a friend:-)

This is a bright clean shiny cafe. With excellent coffee and baked goods. I didn't try, the handheld Pot pies, but had Monkey bread, instead. The staff were friendly, attentive, & quick. It was bustling on the Sunday I went and pretty chill on Monday morning which was great. I highly recommend it.

As a regular at Skippers, I have had the pleasure of experiencing the top-notch service and coffee at this cozy coffee shop time and time again. Driving the entire Cali coast from north to south, we found Skippers to be our favorite coffee shop of all. Great coffee and eats, super friendly staff, cool vibe. Highly recommended!

I love this coffee shop. It is now my FAVORITE coffee shop in California and I wish I had come across this sooner. We frequent SLO a few times a year and today was my first time trying this place. I love the Australian ship theme along with the inclusive vibe: rainbow decor, dog treats and bowls provided, and many many more. Just walk in and you'll feel like you are welcomed and loved. That is pretty hard to say coming from a shy person who is always paranoid of walking in a new space. I just felt comfortable and happy being inside. Saw a handful of dogs with their owners so it is definitely dog friendly - they also had a sign showing dog of the week! How cute! There's a board that displays an Australian phrase to learn. I believe it is a sign that I need to book a flight to Australia now - my husband and I were talking about traveling there this year for our late honeymoon. I LOVE the kangaroos and koalas decor scattered across the coffee shop ... and they also serve Australian pastries/foods.

Customer service was awesome on a new years day morning - thank you for being open and serving tired folks who have yet had their morning coffee/drink! I got the cappuccino and iced coffee although their signature drinks looked enticing. I will for sure come back and try other items on the menu! The drinks didn't take too long and they provided tiny chocolate chip cookies with each drink. Such a nice touch. Also great friendly service from the workers as they handed me my drink. Next time I'm in town I will for sure make my daily coffee stop here!!!

Awesome Aussie inspired coffee spot along Monterey Street. We tried the iced chocolate sea salt caramel and iced white chocolate mocha drinks. Perfect balance of flavor and espresso! The drinks came with a mini cookie too. I’d definitely go back for another coffee plus a lamington or meat pie the next time I’m in SLO.

We were staying at an AirBnB next door, and of course I stopped by here one morning. I had their dark roast, and my girlfriend had the red velvet nitro cold brew. Extremely high quality coffee, and such a friendly atmosphere. They even put this little cookies on top of each drink which was nice. I usually don't drink coffee anymore, but this is one of those places that I will be back for.

Great coffee, great pastries including an amazing almond croissant, and just a great overall atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.
