Unfortunately, they have gone downhill in 2021. Drinks tasted of creamer and tons of sugar not tea, even when I specified 50% sweet. If you like Dutch Bros, go here. If you want milk tea, go to Boba Stop.
2019 review: Helpful service and premium drinks at mid-range prices. Basic drinks are $4, and with a few add-ons you'll hit $6. My milk tea smoothie was flavorful with warm chewy honey boba. Remember to ask for 50% sweet if you want more tea flavor!
The Milk Tea with Boba and Oreo smoothie were decent.
The three star rating is for the experience ordering. There were two point of sale systems available and both had different options available. Neither of them matched up with the options on the paper menu taped to the counter.
The experience was very cumbersome because we tried the first POS terminal and couldn't create the drinks we wanted based off of what should have been available per the paper menu. The second system had a couple additional options, but still not what we wanted. We ended up just going with the pre-made options on the menu.
It's worth noting that it could be entirely possible that the paper menu just isn't clear enough about what options are available with which drinks. Either we misunderstood the menu or the POS system is wrong, or both.
I'll give them another star if they get their POS system to match up with their paper menu and/or clarify the ordering options.
I got some Boba Milk Tea, and it was alright. Nothing special, in my opinion there was too much ice and I don't like the type of ice that they use here, it's a lot harder to navigate a straw through. The deals that they have throughout the week are pretty nice though, $3 milk tea on one day and then $3 thai tea on another.
EDIT: Decided to give them another chance...bad mistake. The boba was way too soft and gooey, so much so that it left a slimy residue in the cup.
The Thai tea is pretty good but the regular teas are overpowering. They taste very bitter and don't mix with the flavors at all. You don't get a lot of boba in the drink either...probably half the sips don't have any boba and taste extremely sweet as a result. Also, their loyalty program gives you a stamp for every $5 you spend, but nearly all the drinks come out to just under $5 (with one flavoring and one topping) and they have stopped giving stamps if it's even a penny under $5. The program is pretty much useless unless you always buy multiple drinks, in which case you'll get one stamp for spending a penny under $10 every time.
I was pretty hyped when they first opened but everything's gotten stingier since then, so I'm not sure how much I'll be back anymore.
A bit overpriced for boba. Dont get me wrong, the tea is great but the pricing system is whack. Just for a flavored tea without any boba or jelly is $3.99. You also have to ask for boba if you want it added. Ive made that mistake too many times. It can get kind of crowded on the weekends but its also one of the closest boba places in a non-ethnic-food area and it is open until very late at night. Just be sure to ask for boba and be willing to stretch your wallet for it.
Pretty good milk desserts. We got the Thai tea and vanilla soft serve swirl, which I would only recommend if you really like Thai tea. And we got the Vietnamese iced coffee, which taste like butter in coffee
I'm a regular customer here, but after today's encounter, I'm not sure if I want to come back.
My friends and I were really looking forward to some good quality boba so of course we came to Milk In It. When we were ordering, they said they were out of boba pearls, so we were forced to get our next favorite, lychee jelly. After already paying, they tell us they're out of lychee jelly too. So we had to settle for other mediocre toppings.
However, more than five people who ordered just SECONDS after us were served boba in their drinks! I FEEL HURT BY THEIR ACTIONS. I'm not sure why we were lied to, but I do know that I won't hold them to the same esteem as I once did. Very poor customer service.
I got milk tea with boba, but the boba that I received was not 100%, as it was a little hard in the center. Milk tea was passable but not exceedingly great. Not bad affordability for what you get, and the staff is kind and help you without needing to be called.

They should serve real ice cream instead of soft serve. Soft serve is a cheap low class dessert.
