Field Day Coffee

We were on our way to another coffee bar when my roommate saw this place and wanted to stop. The decor was beautiful and everything looked impeccably clean. The pastry case was full of pastries that would make any French chef proud and what a great variety of coffees! I ordered an iced coffee and the roomie had a standard drip. We had the Orange olive oil cake and a sesame bagel. Holy Lord! It was probably one of the best iced coffees I've ever had and I've had them everywhere. We were fighting over the last bites of bagel and everything was just perfect. The guy helping us at the counter was a rock star! I'm kicking myself for not getting a soft T shirt while we were there. Definitely stop here!

Definitely my favourite and I believe best specialty coffee in SLO. I had to queue quite a while this Sunday morning to hen my coffee and this tells you how good it was. I had the americano with the Ethiopian beans and it was fantastic. A true eye opener in this damp and foggy start of the day. They really care where the coffee is coming from and they give you the choice when you order. Other places might just tell you, oh it is a blend but I cannot actually remember from where 😂. Here it is how a specialty coffee should be. Give their customers a true coffee experience including to know which coffee they are drinking. ☺️ the shop has a fantastic atmosphere too and I believe they have an excellent team here. Way to go! Thank you!

Drinks here have always been good on average but we get a variety in quality consistency. Sometimes the drink knocks your socks off and sometimes it’s just odd. The Gibraltar we ordered tasted a bit like tomato juice this last time. They do have a fun vibe and attached clothing store which is fun.

I love local coffee spots. Chains have their place but small local brew joints are really where you want to go if you want coffee. If the place is owned and run by someone genuinely interested in every step of the coffee making process you know you have found a good spot. This is one of those spots. Once you get that cup of java into your hands and taste what's been brewing here, you know why this is one of the best places to get bean juice in SLO.

I got an oat cappuccino which was amazing! The space is tastefully designed and there is plenty of space and sitting area to bring your laptop and work. The wait was a bit longer than usual. Plenty of parking available.

My coffee and sandwich were both great. Feels wonderful when the weather is nice and doors are open. Friendly and quick staff. Even some dogs hanging out.

Field Day is the go to spot for the best cup of coffee in SLO. Without a doubt the most delicious drip coffee, pour over, and espresso in the city and their pastries are pretty great too. Make sure to check out this spot for a quick coffee, or stay a while and get yourself a cappuccino and Orange and Chocolate chip scone. Best part is they don’t have all that Fru Fru kitschy stuff that Scout has when you walk in. It’s an honest coffee shop which relies on their amazing staff, great coffee and treats, and exceptional environment.

The coffee here is quite delicious! It had great flavor and the artwork was beautiful. The location is close to downtown and there is adequate parking in the lot. This place is worth a visit!

Best americano I had recently. The barista cares about the quality- they made it with the right water and espresso ratio. The coffee has a nice chocolate-like aroma.

I really enjoy stopping in here when it's not too crowded for a pastry or drink, but sometimes feel a bit out of place/judged for wearing leisure attire (not by staff, just other customers). Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I get a strange vibe from certain visits while others are totally positive. They are great at latte foam art and have awesome little items for gifts and "treat yourself" products as well
