Such a cute local place, I got a hot latte with oat milk and a blueberry muffin. The coffee is so balanced and tasty and the muffin is just perfect, not too sweet at all, will definitely go back!

I wanted a regular, refreshing, healthy smoothie and paid $5 for an overly sweet juice that gave me the biggest HEADACHE. There is no real fruit in any of the smoothies; it’s all from pre mixed bags of fruit extract plus juice. If you want real fruit chunks, go to Jamba Juice.

PLS get a new TABLET!!! love the açaí bowls, smoothies and coffee here. I’ve been coming to the balboa location for 3 years. All of the staff is so nice and helpful and I’ve met plenty of new ones over the years. My only complaint is that the iPad they use for payment often doesn’t work. It’s literally from 2006 and obsolete- ex DoorDash pick up order couldn’t be pulled up (iPad) and about a year ago it was the same thing. I hope the owner will invest in this location. I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with it.

I ordered the White Chocolate Mocha and geez it was delicious. I believe that they have quality coffee and is not as watered down as Starbucks

Honestly the best coffee I have ever had. The frappa is awesome. It's not sickly sweet and it has amazing flavor and depth. Definitely a must Everytime I'm in the San Diego area. Wish they had one of these on the east coast!

All I can say is HOT DAMN Shaka's 100% Kona coffee is strong! I love it so much.
We always order the 100% Kona cold brew and drink it black. The coffee is fruity and not too acidic, with a caffeine kick that'll surprise you if you're not prepared. It's a perfect cup of cold brew in my opinion.
Reminds me of being on the big island. Well worth the trip.
