COVID Update: they are open until 1PM, you can still get delicious soyrizo burrito and coffee.

Came for the beans, stayed for lunch. Glad I did. Soyrizo burrito was tasty, and just the right size. Setting is nice. Service is good. I bought a bag of Guatamala beans, and they taste great in my mochas. It's a small shop, I hope they expand in the future.

I totally forgot to pick up a coffee when I left downtown today however I was around the area and I asked Google "take me to the nearest coffee shop" of course Starbucks was #1 on the list 😣
I continued to scroll down the list and I discovered Jaunt Coffee Roasters "I got to go!" I said
When I arrive I was a little insecure if I was at the right place. Everything's looked like a warehouse the majority of the breweries are around are closed. As I continued to walk across the parking lot I finally found the coffee shop. Inside I found the shop warm and cozy with modern rustic look. Really loved the theme. One thing that caught my eye and made feel at home was empanadas from "Empanadas Kitchen". Empanadas Kitchen is just down the block from my house so when I saw the empanadas I knew I was at the right place and let me tell you when I got my mocha and opened the lid I found freckles chocolate on top of my coffee I smelled it the aroma was amazing. I take my first sip OH PEOPLE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO SKIP MCDONALD'S STARBUCKS' AND DRIVE UP TO JAUNT COFFEE! It was a delicious Mocha! I will definitely return even if it's 30 min drive from Downtown 🤣🤣🤣 thank you guys

Best local coffee in the San Diego region. For the community and passionate about their craft and quality above all else.

First time trying Jaunt Coffee Roasters. A little hidden but an outstanding find. Their coffee is excellent and they offer enough food options for a nice Sunday breakfast. I got a Cortado and my friend got an espresso. Both of us were pleased with our drinks. Will definitely be back

My go to coffee shop and roaster, I usually get whole bean coffee bag different type each time but mainly the Ethiopian. They also have delicious empanadas, and other baked stuff. The Ethiopian coffee is amazing they have multiple varieties/notes. Also their house blend “130 Blend” is delicious.

This place felt hidden and out of the way, located in a business park and next to a dirt quarry. So, not the greatest of views or nicest of scenery. Their Panela Latte was super sweet and very good, but the sugar hid the coffee flavor, which I like to taste even in a sweet latte. They had a rather extensive menu and some sweet and savory pastries, which unfortunately we weren't hungry enough to try. Overall, this place seems quaint and nice and gets good traffic for being so secluded. Would go back and would probably try something simpler next time.

I work right by this place, and for once I got to work early soooo I had to try. I got their spiced cold brew and their raspberry pop tart, and both are amazing!! The guys working the counter were super nice, the food selection has a lot to offer, and lots of drinks options. Each coffee is hand made, so just make sure to give yourself some time. Nothing tasty comes quickly. I will definitely be making a point to get to work earlier more often!

Picked up malasadas to eat at home on a Friday (malasadas are only made on Friday and Saturday). We got ube, chocolate, vanilla, and the seasonal caramel apple. The seasonal caramel apple was mediocre - couldn't taste much caramel flavor and the apple wasn't very tender. However, the ube, chocolate, and vanilla malasadas were excellent. If you want malasadas, I suggest going early. We got there at 8:20 am and got the 2nd to last chocolate malasada. We also got a latte that was good as well.

I've found myself becoming a frequent visitor, no complaints about it though. Tucked away in the back parts of a creatives business park with multiple different shops.

The coffee, iced or hot is always on point and served with a smile and great service. The pastries are just as appetizing, can't go wrong with either their varietal of empanadas, donuts, burritos, and other assortments of edibles
