Acai bowl is the tops. Think the owner sold it so it underwent a facelift but the food and coffee and ice cream is still the same. Great local spot.

Nice quiet little coffee shop. Its not too busy which makes it nice for getting work done or for catching up with friends. Baristas weren't rude, but also not super friendly. I got the Desiree, which is a brown sugar cinnamon latte. I enjoyed my drink and the peace and quiet I got. Will come back if I'm in the area

Much cheaper than Starbucks, and worth your time. The place is cozy; not to mention a good taste in lounge music and their specialty drinks completely far from overwhelming. In a small, it will satisfy you. The place is very vegan friendly, too; and the employees are respectable and smiling people.
"Leah" is my favourite. It's a Mexican chocolate and coconut blended specialty drink (and it is a latté). I then tasted their hot chocolate and their other specialty, "Sierra" (another latté blend: macadamia nut and maple spice). Unlike Starbucks, they know how to incorporate their flavours in the right proportions. The key notes don't sink to the bottom of your cup and collect there until you've about swigged all of your drink until you are sipping syrup and clumps of sweet powder.
They have a menu visibly ample with options in constructing your beverage, too. It is right there for all to browse; welcoming you to create your own unique drink. The place doesn't try to be luxurious - it tries to be open.
A refreshing change of pace.

This place has great coffee and breakfast pastries, and is a good place to get some work done (solid wifi)! Everyone’s very friendly. I’ll be coming back regularly!

One of my favorite coffee shops in San Diego. The coffee is delicious, they serve all types of espresso drinks (hot, iced, blended). No bagels but lots of other food items. I love the banana bread! They serve ice cream and acai bowls. Music is great and I love the artwork around the shop. The best part is the staff. They're friendly and fast and handle those rush hour mornings very well.

This is my favorite local coffee shop, staffed by some of my favorite coffee professionals. Bob and the staff are always friendly, open and really great to me as a customer. I can always count on being greeted by name and sharing a smile or two. The prices are reasonable for most things and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I used to go to the Starbucks up the street, but it always seemed so crowded and noisy. I had a hard time even finding a place to park. So when Clairemont Coffee opened up, I was happy to find this friendly, more low-key and easy to park alternative source of my coffee bean extract!

Best Pitaya/acai bowls! Great coffee shop that's all organic. Strong following of regulars in the early ams. The espresso is quality and pitaya/acai bowls are OUTSTANDING whichever your preference. They are sooo good. If you hang around a bit, you'll notice the bowls are constantly going out the door with call in orders- secret is out! The youngins stoke on their ice cream selection and say it tastes like we make it at home. Thanks Bob!

This café has a wonderful atmosphere and an impressive selection of coffee, tea, açai bowls, and a few pastries. The place is friendly and local with nice lighting and comfortable seats. I got the Irish Creme Blended Latte (similar to a frappuccino), which was phenomenal. Everything is super customizable and the barista helped me pick something I would like. Nothing was overpriced. Wish I had discovered this place sooner!

Solid English Breakfast black tea, comfortable couches, and friendly staff. Generally this is a nice place to spend an afternoon. It has plenty of outlets and free wifi, so not a bad place to work or study. It's not gigantic, though, and can get a little loud.

Good coffee...friendly baristas. Store is in a strip mall and kinda small with limited seating area.
