Did an almond latte taste off between The Beerded Bean and Cherry Bean. Hands down the winner was the Beerded Bean. All of the drinks at the Cherry Bean only come with one shot of espresso and deviations all cost extra. The latte left a weird aftertaste and was all around not as good. Only giving 3 stars in hopes that maybe this was an off day or that the latte isn’t their specialty.

The service was friendly, the drip coffee was just alright. The cleanliness of the place though... lots of dust, tables had chips out of them and some of the chairs need to be re-upholstered.

Yeah, they have good coffee … but the management is very poor. Simply said, if they don't approve of your kind, they don't want you there. The have kicked out or discouraged many folks that are more than willing to pay for their over priced goods.

Great euro style coffee. Nice atmosphere. No problems with the staff. Clean restroom because you have to ask for a token. 2 thumbs up. Ignore the whiners.

The only reason I don't give them a perfect score: I wish they served beer and wine. I know, not a lot of coffee shops do, but more and more independent coffee shops are now offering beern and wine, and sometimes, it is really nice to have a beer in the evening at a coffee shop.

There is a welcoming feel inside this coffee shop. The manager and staff are friendly and curtious. The coffee is wonderful!! New fabric on the benches would make it perfect!!

Arguably the best coffee I have ever had. The folks here are very knowledgeable about coffee and care a lot about quality. I also like that they support their local art community.

I discovered this little gem in 2001. I moved in 2003 and have ordered coffee from Cherry Bean every since. I've tried other roast houses but nothing compares. Peter is a love and dedicated to his craft.

The fact they roast their own coffee in house by an experienced roaster should say it all, but if that doesn't then yes very friendly staff, great selection of coffee, local art always on display, I agree with another review that I wish they stayed open a little later as there are night owls and people that like a good cup of coffee after a movie or dinner.. But A+ coffee house.
